Warm-up: 5:00 PM Nov 16-17; 7:00 AM Nov 18-19

POOL: Lion’s Aquatic Centre, 60 Olympic Way, Grand Cayman

COURSE: Outdoor 25 meter pool with 6 competition lanes.

WARM-UP PROCEDURES: All lanes will be open for CIASA Member Coach supervised warm-up during designated Warm-Up times. The pool will close 10 minutes before the start of each session.

Meet Referee will oversee the meet. Any queries regarding conduct of the meet should be directed to the referee.

FINA Rules Swimming rules will govern, except as set out below:

•  Swimmers must swim in the Age Group as determined by their age on the first day of the meet.

o  Stingray Swim Club reserves the right to enter Special Olympians in nonconforming age groups.

•  Heats will be swum slowest to fastest

•  Swimmer may swim a maximum of 4 individual events per day and 1 relay per day.

o  Swimmers can enter 10 individual events in total and 4 relays.

•  Teams may enter a maximum of two relays (A & B) for each relay event.

o  If sessions run over 3.5 hours, relays will be scratched from the lineup.

•  Thursday’s 800m and 1500m freestyles will be limited to the top 12 entries in each event.

•  Flyover starts will be in effect. Swimmers must exit the pool immediately after the beginning of the next heat.

•  11-Over events will be scored separately as 11-12, 13-14 and 15-Over.

•  10 & Under events will be scored by the swimmer’s overall place in the event, not by age group.

•  Individual scoring will be points awarded to the top 5 finishers in order of finish as: 6-4-3-2-1

•  Relays will be scored as: 12-8-6-4-2

•  Breaks for warm down will be announced before the start of the first session, contingent upon timeline.

•  A No DQ policy is in effect for swimmers in 6 Under events at the discretion of the Meet Referee.

•  No nuts are allowed on the pool deck or anywhere in the venue at any time.

RECORDING DEVICES & MEDIA NOTICE: The use of audio-visual recording devices, including cell phones, are not permitted in locker rooms, changing areas or restrooms. This meet may be covered by the media, including photographs, video, web casting and other forms of obtaining images of athletes participating in the meet. Entry into the meet is acknowledgement and consent to this fact.

****NO FLASH PHOTOGRAPHY WILL BE PERMITTED AT ANY TIME DURING THE MEET****

SWIMWEAR: Swimsuits are expected to comply with FINA swimsuit specifications.

DECK CHANGING: Changing on pool deck or outside of a designated changing facility is strictly prohibited. Failure to abide by this rule may result in expulsion from the competition.

SEATING AND DECK: The north side bleachers, closest to the track, will be open for spectators and parents. The south side bleachers, closest to John Grey High School and the blocks end of the pool will be open to swimmers, coaches and officials only. Swimmers are not allowed to gather and loiter between blocks. Both ends of the pool must be kept clear for timers and officials.

ELIGIBILITY: Open to all CIASA registered athletes and certified members of a national federation.

SUBMITTED TIMES: Times submitted must be the best recorded short course time from 2 years preceding the start date. (NO WORK OUT TIMES). Times may be converted however, all nonconforming times will be seeded last. Coaches and swimmers should be prepared to verify all submitted times.

AWARDS: Individual Medals for 1st – 3rd place, Ribbons for 4th – 6th for 12-Under swimmers only. High Point award for each Age Group. First place, highest scoring, team will receive a champion award.

ENTRY FEES: $25.00 flat fee for individual athletes. NO REFUNDS. E-mail entry (entry. Zip file) will be accepted. Deletions will not be refunded.

ENTRY DUE DATE: Entries must be received by no later than Midnight on Friday, 10 November. No deck entries will be permitted.
