Summer Reading Assignment

Instructions for 12 On-Level and 12 Honors: Choose 2 current event articles, one on careers and one on post-secondary training (college, military, trade school). These could be from the newspaper or on-line. Each article must be at least 600 words.For each article, complete an Interrogating an Article capture sheet. Additionally, you need to research a potential college of interest and complete the college profile. The entire summer reading assignment is due by the second day of school (Tuesday, August 26, 2014) and will be submitted to your English teacher. The summer reading assignment will not be accepted after the 2nd day of class.

Included is also a list of suggested reading that is entirely optional.
