Olympia’s victory over Oviedo in the Regional Championship on Wednesday was Coach Brooke Tobin’s 100th career win.
Lindsey McNamara was named a US Lacrosse All-American Honor Mention.
Lindsey McNamara, Kristy Garrison, Francesca Malabad & Ashley Matthews were named to the All-Metro Conference team. Brittney Matthews was named to the Honorable Mention All-Metro Conference team.
Lindsey McNamara will be playing lacrosse at Liberty University (VA).
Kristy Garrison will be playing lacrosse at Limestone College (SC).
Francesca Malabad will be playing lacrosse at Piedmont College (GA).
Michelle Hedrick will be playing lacrosse at Gardner-Webb University (NC).
Ashley and Brittney Matthews are identical twins.
Ashley Aken lives and plays with Cystic Fibrosis & the team has dedicated & played for Ashley’s Angels (formed in 2000) this season, helping her raise more than $15,000 this year for research.
