The 28th Henry Street Heritage Festival held September 16, 2017, was an outstanding festival held in Downtown Roanoke. It has been officially estimated that the 2017 festival had from 3,500 to 4,000 persons in attendance throughout the day. This is an outstanding achievement after having presented this festival for 28 years.
The Harrison Museum of African American Culture is beginning to plan the 28th year of illuminating the heritage of African American culture through the performing arts, culinary fare, and community pride. As we move forward, we will need your support and involvement to continue to maintain the high quality of excitement, fun, and musical performances, which include local, regional and national entertainers and recording artists. These components are the signature of the Henry Street Heritage Festival.
The 28th Henry Street Heritage Festival will be in Elmwood Park September, 16, 2017. Having reached a record breaking presence among festivals held in Downtown Roanoke, we have distinguished ourselves as not only being a popular festival but one that is known for showcasing the best of African American musical genres and one that has something for all diverse interests and sectors of our rich multi-cultural communities, locally, regionally and beyond.

Enclosed you will find an informational packet describing the levels of sponsorships for the HSHF that are available for purchase which will make you a stakeholder in the largest one day and most popular of festivals held in Downtown Roanoke. The 28th Henry Street Heritage Festival activities attract 4,000 people or more from the Blue Ridge Region, the East Coast and beyond. Our advertisement which includes logos and listing of presenting/host/title sponsors, as well as festival partners and supporters will reach over 100,000 people. But most importantly, the HSHF proceeds provide the primary resources to support the ongoing programs and operations of the Harrison Museum of African American Culture.

In Kind Donations
· In- kind goods and/or volunteer services are welcomed. Perks received will be based on the fair market value of the donations which fit within the cost ranges of the defined sponsorship levels offered.
NOTE: Donations of lesser amounts are acceptable and the donor will be acknowledged in both of the newspaper supplements.
All Festival Sponsors & Partners may provide their business/company banner to be hung prominently at the festival contingent on available space.
Any sponsorship of $3,500 or more may include a business display booth at the festival.
