Saturday Recreational Program - Saturday Mornings January 11 – March 1 The Saturday recreational program is co-educational for kids grades K-4 and stresses instruction, various basic basketball skills development, and fun pickup games. The program runs Saturday mornings. Specific timeslots for age groups will be provided shortly. Parent coaches are required for this program to run! Please email if able to coach!
Drop-in play for older kids will be added if enough interest. In the meantime, kids 4th-HS are encouraged to play Rec Travel Team Program. Please email if interested in drop-in and we will keep a log to determine if feasible: . Coaches/Parents will also be needed to assist.
Travel Team Program – Wachusett League Girls and Boys Travel League – December – early March.
Princeton Parks and Recreation also offers a travel program with the Wachusett League (Princeton, Paxton, Rutland). Teams will be a combination of kids from these towns. Players will be broken into 4th-5th, 6th-8th and 9th-11thage brackets, boys and girls teams. Program kickoff clinics by age group will be held first week of December, and game schedules will follow shortly. ALL GAMES WILL BE HELD ON SATURDAYS IN RUTLAND. Mandatory team placement clinics will be held first week of Dec. Schedule will be posted on the Parks and Rec website and emailed to registrants.
