2013 P.B.I.A. Annual Meeting Minutes

  1. Pat McDiarmid, President with a quorum present convened the 2013 meeting on July 28th, 2013 at 11 AM
  2. Review of 2012 Annual meeting minutes
  3. Treasurer’s Report
  4. 2013 Summer Event reviews –
  5. July Cocktail Party – successful - to be repeated in 2014
  6. Field Day – Ethier Family and volunteers thanked for an exceptionally successful day
  7. Noted that the date of Field Day will return to the first Saturday of August
  8. 2013 Summer Dinner update -
  9. Being held on August 17th on Spurr Road at 6 pm – Food/tables/chairs provided –

  13. Handrails to be replaced and repaired for those stairs (3) from Fairview to Center Street
  14. Voted to replace/repair handrails not to exceed $7000 – Joe U
  15. Seawall repair – need of maintenance of cracks
  16. Seawall repair to be done on the same day as Fall dock removal – Paul Salvucci

  18. Fall 2014 repair – quotes to be presented at 2014 annual meeting – Paul Salvucci
  19. Use of Beachfront for personal events
  20. Paid PBIA Association Member use only (to be determined case by case for use) and meeting the following restrictions:
  21. Officers and Trustees to be designated approvers
  22. Not to be used during the day to interfere with beach use
  23. NO allowance of parking on any association street – offsite parking must be arranged by member
  24. All abutters must be notified by member
  25. Association will be notified by Officers via email
  26. Liability Waiver to be issued for all users
  27. Insurance Notification needed
  28. Review of rules for use of beach, swimming area, dinghy docks
  29. NO use of hard floatation devises in designated swimming area
  30. Paddle boards, kayaks, canoes, jet skis, boats, etc
  31. Use of dinghy docks are for boat owners only
  32. No fishing, diving or jumping from docks
  33. No jumping from handrails along pier – sign to be placed for notification
  34. New matting to be provided for under wheels on walkway leading to swimming dock – Joe U.
  35. General information to be sent via email except in those cases when no email address is provided
  36. Hard copies of all dues forms, public announcements of events, and meeting minutes to be found in a box designated at Salvucci’s – 43 Buena Vista
