2013-2014 Reitz Memorial High School Tuition Policy Agreement

This policy applies to all students attending Reitz Memorial High School.

1.Parents are expected to pay the published Reitz Memorial High Schoolfee & tuition rates for educating their child(ren) at Reitz Memorial High School unless granted a financial aid award under the Financial Aid policy. These payments are expected by the established due dates.

2.The following payment options are available to parents for fulfilling the tuition obligation:

  1. Payment in Full at registration by cash or check
  2. Payment in Full at registration with a loan proceeds check from ETFCU or any other financial institution
  3. Semester Payment which requires Enrollment in the automatic deduction program (Auto Debit) with all fees and ½ of tuition due by July 16 and the 2ndpayment deducted from the parent’s checking or savings account with a single deduction on the December 2, 2013.
  4. Monthly Payment which requires Enrollment in the automatic deduction program (Auto Debit) with all fees and 1/9 of tuition due by July 16th and the remaining 8payments will be monthly payments deducted from the parent’s checking or savings account on the 16th of each month.

3.There is a one-time per family fee for the Semester and Monthly Payments. There is $60 charge for parents to sign up for the Semester automatic deduction program and a $100 charge for parents to sign up for the Monthly automatic deduction program. However, bank fees which are charged to the parish for returned items, including closed accounts and insufficient funds, will be added to the appropriate tuition or stewardship account and must be paid prior to the next payment due date. If there are two or morefailed transactions during the year, you may be required to pre-pay tuition for the following school year.

4.If financial circumstances require families to delay a payment, they must contact the Business Office at (476-4973 x309) immediately to make other payment arrangements.

5.Pre-registration (General Fee) for the next school year will be accepted, however, it does not guarantee a position for your child until all past due balances are paid in full including lunch.

6.Registration (July) for the upcoming school year will not be completed until all balances from the prior year, including lunch, have been paid. Failure to address these balances by the registration date will result in the students schedule being held.

7.If a child attends only part of the school year, the tuition will be prorated based on the number of school days attended by the child. Anytime after the start of the school year, fees will not be refunded.
