Patrick, Nick and Ben were with the team for 7 years and Nick will be playing for WashingtonUniversity in St. Louis. Wes was with the team for 5 years, Santhi and Ali for 3 (Santhi will play at Academy of Art University). Johnny and Dante played with SMU for two years with Dante who will play at LMU and Johnny whowill play at Cal State Dominguez Hills. Everybody else played this last season, with Jeremiah also playing for CSDH, Ryan playing for USNaval Academy, Ari for Puget Soundand Cameron for FlaglerCollege next year.Nate, Patrick, Nick, Ben, Wes, Santhi, Ali and Johnnywere all members of the squad that won CSL Premier in 2012.Thanks for many years of great soccer, boys! You represented SMU with passion and integrity and made us proud of having you at SMU!

ZACHERY MCGRAW(B17 Blue) - For committing to the US Military Academy at West Point, where he'll play Division I in the Patriot League. Congratulations Zach!

GEORGIA STERZA and NOELLE SHAPIRO(G9) - For their exceptional performances this weekend, which helped the team get the Championship at the Ventura County Fusion Clasico!

BRIAN GUZMAN, JASON BAUTISTA, JOEY LOPEZ, JUSTIN CHIN, ABU IYOB-TESSEMA, ALEXIS CASTILLO(B17) - For their incredible history and dedication to the SMU colors. These 6 players are all graduating seniors and will be going to college next season. This weekend was their last official event with SMU. Abu, Brian and Joey were with SMU for 3 seasons, Jason for 4, Alexis for 5 and Justin for 8 (having started with the team in its inception in U10 and having stayed with the team for his entire career. Justin was also a member of the State Cup winning squad in 2009). Boys, you are leaving us with many greatmemories. Thanks for all you have done for SMU! We are proud of all of you!

PHIN BAUER, JONAH BLUME-KEMKES, ANTOINE LAURIENT, CAM STOPFORTH, SKYLER GIBBONS-STOVALL(B17 Blue) - For their outstanding career at SMU.These 5 players are all graduating seniors and will be going to college next season.Phin was with the club for 5 years, Jonah was with the club for 5 years and 7 with the team, Antoine spent his entire career with the club for 8 years, Cam was with the club for 4 years and Skyler for 1,5 years. They were all members of the squad that won CSL Premier in 2013. Antoine also won State Cup in 2009 with the SMU B96. Thanks for many years of great soccer, boys! You represented SMU with passion and integrity and made us proud of having you at SMU!

JESUS (ENRIQUE) ROJAS CORONA(B16) - For being selectedto theODP/PRO+ State I.D. Pools for the spring/summer of 2014 for the 1998 age group!

DANTE PEREZ MENDOZA(B13) -For being selectedto theODP/PRO+ State I.D. Pools for the spring/summer of 2014 for the 2000 age group!

ALEC CHAPMAN and WILL VALENTINE(B12) - For their outstanding performances at the Irvine Memorial Classic, which helped the team win the Championship. Alec was exceptional on defense for the whole weekend, while Will topped off an amazing weekend with anincredible goal with a20 yard volley that eluded a fully stretched keeper just under the crossbar.

MORGAN SASAKI and EMILY LURIE(G17) - For impressive performances all weekend long at Cerritos Memorial Tournament. They both showed great composure, playing excellent two-touch possession soccer. Morgan topped it all off with a 2-goal performance in 2-2 tie on Saturday, while Emily scored the tying goal with a beautiful free kick to the upper V in 1-1 tie on Sunday.

CAITLIN MOSCH, MIA MORENO and ANNETTE SEGRETO(G14) – For their performance at Legends Classic this weekend, when they helped the team win the Championship. Caitlin played in goal in the 1st two matches of the Legends Classic, played significant minutes as a striker in the semifinal and final, providing great determination and hustle, and stepping back into the GK position for both PK shootout wins. Mia and Annette have established a great partnership as center backs, driving the team during the weekend with their great leadership, composure and consistent decision making. Played every single minute of the 4 matches. Going back to February, in preparation for State Cup, both embraced learning the new position with great enthusiasm.

LEVI PILLAR and ZACK EISEN(B12) - For helping the team win the final ofthe CSL Spring Cup. Their steady and consistent performances were outstanding throughout the whole weekend.

MELISA RAMIREZ, CALEY COLEMAN and JORDAN WEISS(G11) - For their outstanding performances, which helped G11 win the trophy at Legends Classic. Melisa wason top formall weekend long,scoring 4 goals and consistently creating dangerous situations for herself and her teammates. Caley was dominating in the back for the whole weekend, where she consistently shut down opponents, won the ball and restarted offense from the back. Jordan scored two goals, converting two penalties and played with poiseand intelligence all weekend long.

MAKENNA COWGILL, VICTORIA TAYLOR(G15 blue) - For helping the team reach the finals at Legends Classic. Makenna shinedfor her consistent play in the back line and the middle of the field, whileVictoria made a great contributionwith her tenacious defense and aggressive one on one ability to recover the ball.

ISAAC VARGAS(B11) - For helping the team to advance to the semi-finals of Spring Cup (1-0 win), playing an excellent game with 2 outstanding saves that helped the team preserve the lead.

SOPHIA STILLS(G15) -For scoring 5 goals in the G98's 3 State Cup elimination round matches. She opened the scoring sheet for the team in all three games and also scored the deciding goal in the G98's thrilling (3-2) come from behind victory in the quarter final. Just an incredibly gutsy performance to help lead the team into the semi finals.

03/31-04/06

MELISSA BELL(G15) - For scoringfour goals for the SMU G98s in their 3 opening round victories at State Cup. Her finish with 5 minutes left in regulation was the deciding factor in the G98s thrilling 3-2 vs Ventura in their opening match. She also scored in the team's second and third matches, all from the outside left midfield position. An impressive performance over all three games.

GABBY SOOFER and CAITLIN MOSCH(G14) - For their performances in State Cup this weekend.Gaby was at her best scoring 5 goals in 3opening round State Cup matches, helping the team advance to Round of 32. Was alsovery courageous in the3rd, must-winmatch as a sweeper back, helping the team secure a 2-1 win. Caitlin, in her 1st year as a GK, has shown tremendous improvement in all areas of her game. Outstanding last weekend in Cal Cup and this weekend helping the team advance in State Cup play.

CAMERON SILBAR(B19) - For scoring a hat-trick in 8 minutes for SMU B95 vs. FC Golden State game in a 4-1 win Saturday 4/5!

CAMERON SILBAR(B19) - Forsigninghis NLI as a scholarship player for top ranked D-2 Flagler College in Saint Augustine, Florida. Congratulations, Cameron!

RACHEL PIKE and DANA TRAN(G15 Blue) - For their outstanding performances at Las Vegas Premier Invitational Tournament when they helped the team reach the finals. Rachel, the goalie of the team, made great saves throughout the entire weekend, while Dana scored an unbelievable header in the third game and displayed great tenacity and effort for the whole tournament.

EMMA KATZ and CAITLIN BREMNER(G17) - For their consistent quality performances at this weekend's Desert Cup College Showcase in Phoenix.

NICK KNIGHT and PATRICK ANGELO(B19) - For consistent level of high play at 2014 Nomads Coaches Showcase.

MAYA GRAY(G17) - For outstanding performance during the Southern California National Premier Leaguewhere, amongst other things, she scored tying goal in the final 10seconds of the game.

ERICK VILLATORO(B17 Blue) - For his fantastic performance on Saturday in the SCNPL when he scored 4 goals in 5-1 win against LA Premier FC

NIKO BARDACKE and COLEMAN SEVERS(B9 Blue) - For helping team to the title at the 2014 Eagles Classic Tournament.Niko is recognizedfor outstanding play all over the field and Colemanfor working so hard and scoring some great goals!

MIGUEL RAMIREZ and JACK NEWMAN(B17 White) - For their inspiring performance in 5-5 epic tie against Brazil Stars.

KEON MAZDISNIAN and JASPER LYNN(B13) - For being selected to theODP/PRO+ State I.D. Pools for the spring/summer of 2014. They are both selected for the 2001 age group!

RYAN SAVITT(B19),MATTHEW KOH, ANTOINE LAURIENT(B17 Blue),MATT FRIEDMAN, DOMINIQUE ROYALL, COLIN VALVIDIA(B17) - For winning theCIF SoCal Regional Division I Finals with Loyola High School, just a week after winning the CIF Division I Title. Loyola went undefeated this year with a 30-0-6 record.

NATHALIE MARTINEZ and ALEX SURPRENANT(G11) - For their superb performances this weekend at 2014 Socal Winter Cup, which helped the G11 win the Championship. Nathalie was the MVP of the tournament, having played goalie all weekend, earning 3 shutouts and saving the decisive penalty kick in the final's shootout. Alex was just a dominating presence all weekend long, brilliantly winning ball after ball in the back and also scoring a goal in the first game.

BEN SILBAR and JAYSON ANTONIO(B13 Blue) - For theirmonumental effort against incredible odds during all 3 games at Winter Cup this weekend.

NATHALIE MARTINEZ(G11) - For her outstanding performances in first weekend of State Cup. In 0-0 tie vs. Legends, she had a couple of amazing saves as goalie, keeping the shutout. In the final game of the weekend, vs. Carlsbad Lightning, she scored the winning goal with 3 minutes to go with an unbelievable shot from 35 yards out.

COLEMAN SEVERS and CHRISTIAN HAGOS(B9 Blue) - For outstanding play at Cal Cup helping the team go undefeated in all 4 games with 21 goals scoredand 0 conceded to win the Championship!

ISAAC MACIAS(B10 Blue) - For his solid and aggressive performances as goalkeeper for the whole weekend, helping team get the Cal Cup Championship!

NICK "SANTHI" SANTHIAGO(B19) - For committing to Academy of Art University in San Francisco, where he'llplay D2 soccer for the "Urban Knights" in the PacWest Conference. Congratulations Santhi!

EVAN PERLOW(B12 Blue) - For his excellent defensive displays and scoring a couple of goals, helping the team push its wayto the quarter finals of State Cup!

ASHER ROSSEN(B9 Blue) - For excellent defending throughout the weekend and helping team advance to the quarterfinals of State Cup!

CHLOE ALLISON, ELLA WATKINS and ADELE ROSKIN(G10) - For their outstanding performances, which helped the team go 3-0 for the weekend and advance to the quarterfinals of State Cup.

NOOR NOUAILI and EMMA HOLT(G12)- For their tremendous contribution this weekend. Noorhad excellent defensive play,helping her team record 3 shut outs, while Emma hadfantastic work rate and offensive play. They both helped team advance to quarterfinals of State Cup.

DJIBRIL (JEEBU) CURLEY(B9) - For an outstanding weekend in State Cup, wherehe helped the team to a 3-0 record, scoring 5 goals and 5 assists. Jeebu is currently the youngest player in the club, being a U8 playing up a year!

MAX WEENE and KIERAN QUINN(B9 Blue) - For scoring multiple goals and having multiple assists in the first round of State Cup, helping team go undefeated and advancing to next round.

WILL MERCHANT(B11 Blue) - For great performances in goal this weekend at State Cup. He made some incredible saves, especially in 2-1 win vs. Valley United which helped teamadvance to the second round.

COLETTE NASSIRZADEH and CAROLINE BREMNER(G12) - For outstanding performances in first weekend of State Cup. Their tremendous effort helped team advance to the next round!

DEVON CARMEL(G11) - For solid performances in goal and on the field. In the final, Devon played the entire game in goal, blocking two penalty kicks in the decisive shootout, to help team win championship at LHSC Eclipse Winter Cup.

GLENN KAHAN and ANDREW ELLERSICK(B14)-For outstanding performances at Anaheim Cup 2014, where they helped the team get the Championship. Glenn posted 4 consecutive shut-outs and gave up no goals for the entire weekend, while Andrewscored 2 goals and 4 assists in 4 games, including the game winner in the Finalgame.

ALEXIS HINKLE, ELLA WATKINS and MONA ABAI(G10)-For their exceptional performances during the weekend, when they helpedthe team to the Championship at the 2014 Copa Real Invitational. The three girls also scored the three goals in the final, where they beat Real South Cal for 3-2.

MASON TURNER, IAN VON SIEMENS and BEN SILBAR(B13 Blue)-For outstanding commitment and championship performances all weekend, helping the boys win the title at the 2014 Anaheim Cup.

KAI MCALILEY(B12 Blue) - For outstanding performances on defense and great decision making on the ball all weekend long.

LEO VAGNATI(B9) - For excellent performances at Pateadores Jr. Tournament, where the B9 were finalists.

LAUREN KURTZ(G16) - For going into back surgery this week, to correct a congenital condition. After a 5-hour surgery and 3 hours in recovery on Friday, Lauren already took her first few steps on Saturday. Lauren chose to postpone her surgery so that she could complete her SMU Fall season. Thanks for putting your SMU team ahead this past fall and best wishes for a promt recovery from the entire Club!!!
