Teams Singles Carnival
Entry Form
TOURNAMENT INFORMATION
1. The tournament shall be conducted in accordance with the laws of the game and the regulations for the management of tournaments as laid down by Tennis NSW.
2. All players must be registered members of Tennis New South Wales, or other Member Association and indicate their registration number.
3. Entries must be forwarded with payment ie. Cheque/money order/credit card details included otherwise the entry will be returned.
4. Team members can be borrowed from another Club/Association/State, each players Club/Association/State should be noted in the appropriate space on the entry form. Open to all players from Country, City & Interstate.
5. If a team is withdrawn after the draw is made, the team entry fee will be forfeited.
6. If more than one men’s team or one women’s team is entered from the same Club/Association/State, please
number the teams in order of standard.
7. Teams event: 3 players per match – 1 & 2 v 1 & 2; 1 & 3 v 1 & 3; 2 & 3 v 2 & 3 (twice – 6 sets/match).
8. Players may enter both the Teams Event and ONE Singles Event (Open or Specials). Singles matches will be scheduled for play between 4.30pm and 6.30pm Monday to Wednesday.
9. Please write full Christian names as well as Surnames (not just initials) and all contact phone numbers for all players on the Entry Form.
It's the birthplace of Australia's greatest tennis players. It's where the legend Margaret Court learned her skills. NSW Country Week Tennis is back, returning to the fantastic Grass courts of Albury in 2012. No other Australian sporting event has such a history, once the largest sporting event in the Southern hemisphere. NSW Country Week is expecting more entries based on feedback from the 2011 carnival. Players, spectators and friends will be entertained at all times. At Albury there will be the adrenalin filled grass-court singles matches as well as the teams competition. (In their heyday the singles were used as a national selection trial for our Davis Cup teams).
Players of all standards from ALL States are WELCOME to compete in a graded three (3) person per match teams based competition and one of the Singles Events.
