POSTER REGISTRATION
If you plan to present a poster, please fill in the form below and e-mail or FAX it by April 6, 2012 to John Lundquist, USDA Forest Service (; FAX 907-743-9453). Be sure to print clearly or type.
If you cannot attend the meeting, but would still like to present a poster, you may ship your poster to the hotel attn John Lundquist, FHM Poster. We will set it up for you. Please be sure to send a note letting us know your intentions.
Poster size is limited to 4 X 4 ft. We will have 4 X 8 ft. poster boards with room for 2 posters on each side. If you need more space than this, please call John Lundquist at 907-743-9453 to discuss. Copies of your poster (or an abstract) can be provided as handouts at your option.
Electronic copies of posters will be posted on the FHM website after the meeting. Please submit your poster as a high-resolution .pdf file. The following page includes the Poster Presentation Guidelines and alternative options for submitting your poster.
Posters will be judged and awards given in several categories.
Set-up time for posters will be 5:00 to 9:00 pm on Monday April 16, and mandatory take-down will be by 9:00 pm on Wednesday April 18. Posters not removed by that time will be discarded.

2012 FHM Electronic Poster Presentation
Submission Guidelines
Copy your poster onto the FHM ftp site: ftp://ftp2.fs.fed.us/incoming/wo/fhp/fhm/Tucson/Posters2012/. The deadline for poster submission via the FTP site is April 16, 2010.
If you cannot access this FTP site, please bring a USB thumbdrive or CD to the meeting and give it to John Lundquist. If you are unable to attend the meeting, get the USB thumbdrive or CD to your FHM regional coordinator to submit prior to the meeting date. The following will be needed:
1. Name of poster
2. Contact name
3. Email address
4. Telephone number
5. Region
Please submit the following for all posters:
A high resolution .pdf file at 100% of the size (do not scale) along with the file Metadata placed in the original file or as text in a separate file (.txt, .doc, .docx, .rtf).
An example of a separate metadata file is shown below:

If you are unsuccessful or unable to create a high resolution .pdf file, please be sure to submit, on your USB thumbdrive or CD, the original poster files with all necessary fonts and linked files. We will attempt to create a high resolution .pdf file for you.
Accepted file formats include: Microsoft PowerPoint (.ppt or pptx), Adobe Illustrator (.ai, .eps), Adobe InDesign (.indd), Macromedia Freehand (.FH11, .eps), or Microsoft Publisher (.pub). For all file formats, please include any non-standard Windows system fonts. For file formats other than PowerPoint please include any linked files such as photographs.
