This renewal form is to renew your individual license of registration to practice as a Registered Professional Land Surveyor in Texas. This form is NOT to be used to renew a surveying firm.
DO NOT COMBINE A FIRM RENEWAL FEE AND A SURVEYOR LICENSE RENEWAL FEE INTO ONE CHECK.
Instructions on renewing a certificate/license as a
Registered Professional Land Surveyor
All certificates/licenses of registration that are expired must cease until renewal is complete. Renewal after expiration will be subject to late penalties as stated in Section 1071.303 of the Professional Land Surveying Practices Act. RPLS licenses can be renewed online at www.txls.state.tx.us or by submitting this form to the Board office at 12100 Park 35 Circle Bldg A suite 156 MC- 230 Austin TX 78753.
Those with an RPLS/LSLS license must renew with this form to the Board office.
*EXEMPTION applies to individuals employed by the State of
Texas as a Registered Professional Land Surveyor. If this exemption applies to you, reduce the Total Due by $200.00. Individuals claiming this exemption will be subject to audit. Individuals claiming this exemption must send the renewal form and fee to the Board office for processing.
Renewal notice forms are mailed to the preferred address noted in the records of the Board at the time the renewal notices were printed. If your mailing address has changed, please attach a written change of address notice to this renewal form and return to the Board office for processing. A change of address form can be found on the Board’s web site: www.txls.state.tx.us
