MESSAGE FROM THE MATCH ORGANIZERS

On behalf of the Organizing Committee of ONTarget: Rifle and Pistol Alliance, PSO agent under the Ontario Council of Shooters, we welcome all participants to the 2016 Canadian National Pistol Championships. This is the first year the competition has been held at Cookstown at the new Pan American range on electronic targets as well as being eligible for national teams and "cut score" match recognized by the Shooting Federation of Canada, if so declared.

We wish to thank the many volunteers who have donated their time, expertise and hard work in order that we may host this competition. An event of this size would not be possible without their significant contributions.

Our deepest appreciation is extended to our sponsors and all other supporting partners and organizations. Their generous contributions reaffirm the fact that this event has the best quality support from the highest quality people in Canada.

At this time we would like to thank the members of the Organizing Committee whose assistance has been invaluable in the organizing of this competition: Pat Vamplew, Avianna Chao, Don Newman, Mark Lewis and Steven Spinney.

We wish all the competitors the best of luck and good shooting!
