As a participating driver or entrant in the 2014/2015 competition season, I unconditionally understand the following Sprintcar Entrants Group (SEG) conditions of entry which apply for all AHG Sprintcar Series racing and fund raising events conducted during the season, acknowledging;

1. SERIES: The SEG sanctioned AHG Sprintcar Series will be conducted over the following events and venues: (see attached)

2. FEES: It is a requirement that the SEG/SAWA membership fee is paid by the Team owner or driver as the case maybe, prior to competing in the series. SEG points shall not accrue for any meeting until the required entrant fees are paid. Under no circumstance can those fees be remitted on the night of any race meeting.

3.DECALS: To be eligible to receive Seriespoints the lower 150 mm band on each side panel of the racecar top wing shall be reserved for the SEG Seriessponsors decals, which shall be provided by the SEG. These decals shall be displayed in order to race and beeligible for points. No points whatsoever will be awarded to any entrant who races without the sponsorsdecals. No further warnings or reminders shall be given in Season 2015/2016.Please note this rule applies to both qualifying and heat race points. If the car doesn’t have the decals in place and we have over the 24 subscribed field the car will be moved to the rear of the field or meaning an entrant without stickers will not qualify for the Feature and therefore will be unable to accumulate AHG Series Feature seasons points. Promoters choice visiting feature drivers are exempt from this policy…

4. AWARDS NIGHT: In order to receive the end of season prize money payout, attendance by the Entrant Driver,or in the alternative, the car owner, in person, at the annual Awards Presentation Night (scheduled for 18th June,2016) is COMPULSORY for all teams. 6. CHAMPIONSHIP POINTS: The current SEG Series feature race points will remain in place.Drivers will be rewarded with 50 points after completion of qualifying – even if they are unable to do nothing else for the rest of the night. If a driver startsthe A - Main feature race and doesn’t finish the race drop out points will be allocated in order. Eg: 15 cars finish the race and you were the 16th car on track prior to dropping out, you will be credited with 16th place points. These points on the feature race are the only points that will be allocated towards the SEG Championship. No series championship points will be allocated to qualifying, heat races or the top 8 shootouts.

7. THE JOKER: The AHG Sprintcar Serieswill once again implement the “Joker Round”.

All drivers will be able to nominate one “Joker Round” per season which will allow them to race for a double points feature race towards their championship Series points eg: if a driver wins a feature race he will receive the double 150 points; that is 300 points towards the Series points.

The driver shall nominate his “Joker Round” at the drivers meeting and this is to take place during the first 10 rounds prior – 16th January 2016.

8. DRIVER:Any car using another driver, instead of their regular driver cannot gain points for the Series unless using their own registered race car, with normal sponsor signage on the race car and race car number.

10. SOCIAL MEDIA: The SEG encourages participation in online social media in a positive manner. The accessible nature of the internet however, can lend itself to the postingof threatening and derogatory material in the heat of the moment.

Once your thoughts and comments are published to the internet they are visible to the world - and they are permanent; they can also form the basis of defamation.

The SEG takes all cases of threatening and derogatory behavior seriously and will treat online matters as it would ‘real world’ bullying. Instances of posts seen to be not in the best interests of the SEG or activities undertaken at the venue or of individuals or race teams will be dealt with in an appropriate manner.

Serious consequences including a loss of racing privileges may be enforced for those who participate in bringing the SEG and its participants into disrepute.

Any team found to be using the incorrect tyres as nominated by the SEG or using an illegal stamp will result in instant disqualification and further loss of racing privileges will be enforced.
