2015-16 Elk River Junior Olympic Volleyball Player Agreement

Club Fees:

  • Fees must be paid in full to be eligible to practice.
  • No refunds will be given to players once the Letter of Commitment is signed.

Check Payment Installments – I agree to pay my club fees in full in 3 post-dated checks at Tryouts.

Mandatory Officiating Clinic: Venue to be determined

Practice: Practice will be a minimum of once a week for two hours.

  • You are expected to be at each scheduled practice.
  • You will always practice at the time and place designated unless you are notified differently.
  • If you are going to miss practice, please contact your coach prior to practice.
  • If you miss more than three events (competition or practice) without permission from your coach, you may be asked to leave the team.
  • Practice is canceled if the Elk River schools close due to weather conditions.
  • In case of bad weather (but no school closings), you and your parents must make the decision to attend practice and notify your coach accordingly.

The Season: The season will begin in December and end in April.

  • Some teams will compete at the Ralia Sports Center in Maple Grove for league play.
  • Additional tournaments will be determined for your individual team.
  • If you are unable to attend a competition please give your coach a 48 hour notice.
  • If you miss more than three events (competition or practice) without permission from your coach, you may be asked to leave the team.

Playing Time: Every player who has regular attendance at practices and league play will have the opportunity to play, however, we do not guarantee “equal” playing time for each player.

Transportation: Players are responsible for their own transportation to practices, league play and tournaments.

Behavior: If the attitude or behavior of a player is deemed harmful, inappropriate or disruptive to the team by the coach and director, the player will be asked to leave the team.

  • Any player found using or in possession of tobacco, alcohol or illegal drugs will be suspended for a minimum of two weeks from the date of the infraction. A decision will be made by the coach and director as to whether the player will be suspended for the rest of the season. If the infraction occurs before, during or after a USAV sanctioned event, please refer to your USA Volleyball Participant Code of Conduct for the disciplinary policy which will be enforced.

We understand and agree to the provisions stated throughout this agreement. If our daughter chooses to quit the program, we understand that the money paid is non-refundable. If our daughter is asked to leave the team due to absences, behavior or injury we understand that the fees are non-refundable.
