2017 Winston-Salem SHRM HR Professional of the Year Award

Call for Nominations

Winston-Salem SHRM is currently seeking nominations for the 2017 Human Resources Professional of the Year. This annual award recognizes Human Resources Professionals who have made significant contributions to their company/organization, the community, and/or the human resources profession over the past year.

Nominees for the award must be members of our local Winston-Salem SHRM organization. In addition, nominees must have one or more of the following achievements:

Ø  Made worthwhile contributions to their organization; or

Ø  Made efforts to further the HR profession; or

Ø  Made worthwhile contribution to the community; and

Ø  Upheld the highest level of ethical standards.

Pursuit of professional development as demonstrated by certifications such as SHRM-SCP, SHRM-CP, SPHR or PHR will be a plus.

Nominations can be by self-nomination, peer, subordinate, supervisor or other, but must be accompanied by a sponsorship letter from the nominee's organization. Unless you indicate otherwise, each nominee will be notified of the person nominating him or her.

Nomination Forms and Sponsorship Letters must be received by November 24th.

The 2017 HR Professional of the Year receives a personalized award and complimentary registration for the 2018 North Carolina State SHRM Conference. The winner will be announced at the December meeting.
