2017 PROFESSIONAL FLOAT RENTAL AGREEMENT

The Holiday Caravan Parade® agrees to provide to the sponsor a professional float for use in the 2017 Holiday Caravan Parade. The sponsor will choose the float from a number of float sketches supplied for consideration by the Holiday Caravan. The sponsor shall remit to the Holiday Caravan the sum of $625.00 as payment for float rental. $300.00 of this fee is due and payable upon the signing of this agreement. The remaining $325.00 will be due on or before November 3, 2017. All professional floats will be provided complete with tow vehicles and the sponsor’s name in 12” tall lettering on the sides of the float. Each float shall be approximately 28 feet long, 8 to 14 feet wide and 12 ½ feet high. A limit of no more than two sponsors per float has been set. Each sponsor agrees to furnish riders for their float, unless advance arrangements are made with the Holiday Caravan staff; maximum of 15 riders.

2016 PROFESSIONAL FLOAT RENTAL

I.  Rental Fee

A.  Single Business or Organization - $625.00

B.  At least $300 of rental fee must be paid upon selection of float. Balance of $325 will be due on or before November 4, 2016.

C.  If generators are requested and extra $60 charge will apply.

II.  Float Information

A.  Tow vehicles are provided by our float supplier.

B.  Sponsor’s name will be in 12” lettering on each side of float.

C.  Maximum of two sponsors per float.

D.  Each float will be approximately 28’ long, no more than 12 ½’ high, and from 8’-14’ wide.

E.  As a safety precaution, it is necessary to observe a maximum of 15 persons per float.

F.  Float Sponsor must provide riders for floats unless advance arrangements are made with the Holiday Caravan staff.

G.  All items placed on the float must be removed in designated areas immediately following the parade (no straw, hay or pine needles, etc).

H.  No candy to be thrown from the floats, walkers will be allowed beside the floats to hand candy or other items. (Prior approval required)

I.  If balance bars are needed for riders to stand, Holiday Caravan staff must be notified at time of rental.

J.  Only professional floats supplied from vendors selected by the Holiday Caravan are allowed. Rentals from any other firms are not allowed.

I hereby certify that the above information is true and correct to the best of my knowledge and that this entry has not been involved in any violent or unlawful demonstration. I understand that the Holiday Caravan Parade Board and Sponsors has the right to refuse any entry into the parade for any reason. If minor child/children are participants, I agree to provide proper supervision and transportation to insure their safety. I understand that under no circumstances will unattended minors be allowed entry into the parade. I agree that the Holiday Caravan Parade Board or Sponsors will not be responsible for any personal injury or property damage arising from any accident either before, during or after the Holiday Caravan Parade.

Acknowledgement of Parade Policies

We acknowledge that we have received, read, understand, and will fully comply with all the Holiday Caravan Parade policies set forth by the Holiday Caravan Parade. I further understand that our failure to abide by these rules (individually or as a group) may result in one or more of these consequences, (1) potential removal from the parade, (2) disqualification from awards competition, or (3) potential withholding of future invitations to our parade
