Before You Begin:
- Digital copies of all information to be considered in the grant application must be provided (application, maps, land titles search, etc.). If you provide a paper copy, you must also attach a CD or memory stick with digital application information.

- The maximum amount per applicant is $100,000 for the 2015-16 grant funding year. If you have an active project from a previous FireSmart grant, please contact Geoff Braid to investigate eligibility.
- All maintenance and long term management of the project is the responsibility of the grant applicant.

Personal information is collected for the purpose of administering, reporting and evaluating Alberta Agriculture and Forestry’s FireSmart Community Grant Program. Collection is authorized under section 33(c) of the Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy (FOIP) Act and is managed in accordance with the Act. - Vegetation management funding is not allocated without a map, land titles search and a linkage to a Wildfire Mitigation Strategy.
- Planning is a priority for this grant program. Please identify below which aspects of FireSmart Planning your community has completed.

FireSmart Vegetation Management
Map and land titles search of vegetation management are mandatory. If these are not included, the application will be considered incomplete and will not be eligible for funding.
