A HOUSE RESOLUTION
TO RECOGNIZE AND HONOR HARRY E. CULPEPPER, SR., OF ANDERSON COUNTY, FOR HIS DEDICATED SERVICE AS A MEMBER OF THE SOUTH CAROLINA SCHOOL FOR THE DEAF AND THE BLIND BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS.
Whereas, from 1981 to 2007, Harry E. Culpepper, Sr., served tirelessly as a member of the South Carolina School for the Deaf and the Blind Board of Commissioners, representing the deaf community; and
Whereas, himself an alumnus of South Carolina School for the Deaf and Blind, Mr. Culpepper is active in the deaf community. He is member and former president of the South Carolina Association of the Deaf, a lifetime member and former president of the South Carolina School for the Deaf Alumni Association, and cofounder and former president of the South Carolina Deaf Golf Association; and
Whereas, now retired from Belton Printing, where he was a printer, he has spent a lifetime in compassionate and caring support of the deaf community; and
Whereas, Mr. Culpepper and his wife, Peggy, are the proud parents of two sons and reside in Belton; and
Whereas, the members of the House of Representatives would like to publicly express their gratitude to Harry Culpepper for his selfless contributions to the welfare of South Carolina’s hearingimpaired citizens, and the members wish him much happiness and fulfillment in all his future endeavors. Now, therefore,
Be it resolved by the House of Representatives:
That the members of the South Carolina House of Representatives, by this resolution, recognize and honor Harry E. Culpepper, Sr., of Anderson County, for his dedicated service as a member of the South Carolina School for the Deaf and the Blind Board of Commissioners.
Be it further resolved that a copy of this resolution be forwarded to Harry E. Culpepper, Sr.
