A BILL

TO AMEND THE CODE OF LAWS OF SOUTH CAROLINA, 1976, BY ADDING SECTION 50‑5‑1706 SO AS TO PROVIDE THAT THE DAILY CATCH LIMIT ON SPOT‑TAIL BASS IS FIVE FISH PER DAY.

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of the State of South Carolina:

SECTION 1. Chapter 5, Title 50 of the 1976 Code is amended by adding:

“Section 50‑5‑1706. Notwithstanding any other provision of law or regulation of the department to the contrary, the daily catch limit on spot‑tail bass is five fish per day.”

SECTION 2. This act takes effect upon approval by the Governor.
