Getting Started

-This program requires no installation. It runs directly from the DVD.

-Insert the DVD disk into the DVD drive of a multimedia computer. All multimedia computers are configured for automatic detection or opening of DVDs and CD-ROMs. If this is the case the DVD program will either open in the DVD player window or provide (PCs) the DVD player options on the computer you are using. If neither DVD detection nor automatic DVD boot up happens when the disk is inserted then either the computer is not configured appropriately or it is not a multimedia computer. In these cases you need to seek technical support or find a multimedia computer.

Navigation

-The DVD content is accessed through the use of the Main Menu and the Sub Menus.

-Using the computer mouse drag the curser over the menu items and you will see the menu items highlight. Use the curser to point and click on menu items you wish to activate. An alternative approach is to use the arrow keys which will move the curser up or down the menu items. To activate a menu item hit “Enter” or “Return” on the computer keyboard.

-The DVD Player has additional navigation capacity such as using the control panel like a remote control for a TV or stand-alone DVD player. The control panel provides “Play”, “Pause”, “Stop”, “Fast Forward”, “Fast Reverse”, etc.

-Window Media Player has a video slider on the bottom of the screen that allows you to move quickly to any part of the video by clicking on the slider with the curser and moving it right or left. Time code also appears in the lower right corner. When the slider reaches the end of the video clip the screen automatically changes and the submenu from which you have accessed the video clip appears ready for you to make another selection.

-Windows Media Player also allows you to select various screen views by clicking on the small control icons located in lower right had corner of the screen. Selecting the play list will allow you to directly click on any Title or Chapter which coincide with each of the video clips on the DVD.

-To quit the program click eject in the control panel.

Stand-Alone DVD Player Playback

-This DVD program will also run on stand-alone DVD players without the use of a computer.

-Insert the DVD in the stand along player. If the player is functioning properly the DVD program will open and you will see the opening screen with the main menu in view.

-Use the hand held remote or the control panel buttons to navigate through the menu options and select menu options for play.

-Functions on the stand-alone DVD player such as “Play”, “Pause”, “Stop”, “Fast Forward”, “Fast Reverse”, etc. all apply just as if you were using a computer.
