Registration Terms and Conditions

Registration

Fee Categories:

  • Member Company Attendee: representative of a company that is an active member of the NFDA for the current calendar year. The appropriate membership dues must be paid to the NFDA in order to receive the reduced Member Company rate.
  • Affiliated Partner Attendee: representative of an industry association that has a cooperative relationship with the NFDA (e.g., ASFPM, NAFSMA, NAR, IBHS, PIA, etc.).
  • Non-Member Attendee: representative of an organization that is not an active member of the NFDA.
  • FEMA Official or Contractor: any employee of FEMA or of a contractor providing services to FEMA who is not a scheduled speaker for the conference event. The NFDA is offering a reduced rate for qualifying individuals.
  • Other Government Official: any other government employee (non-FEMA) who is not a scheduled speaker for the event. The NFDA is offering a reduced rate for qualifying individuals.
  • Invited Guest Speaker: any individual who has been invited by the NFDA to give a presentation or participate on a panel of experts as part of the conference program.
  • First-Time Attendee: special offer to non-member first-time attendees of the conference. The NFDA is offering the member rate for qualifying individuals.
  • Guest of Paid Attendee: registered attendees may each bring one guest to the Sunday evening events for an additional charge of $125.

Early Registration:

Discounted registration fees are offered to attendees who submit their registration forms and payment by the deadline indicated on the form. Completed forms and payment must be received by COB on the deadline date.

Late Registration:

Late Registration is that which is received after the Meeting Registration Deadline indicated in red at the top of the registration form. Registration received after this date will be subject to a $50 surcharge.

Registration Cancellation:

Due to fees incurred for planning and reserving conference space, the NFDA will not be able to refund registration fees for cancellations made within 14 days of the event.

Member Surcharge for Rooms Not Booked:

The NFDA encourages those traveling to attend the conference to stay at the event hotel, as this helps NFDA negotiate competitive meeting and room rates and keep registration prices lower. Due to penalties imposed upon the NFDA for rooms not booked, NFDA Member attendees may be subject to a $150 surcharge for canceling room reservations within 21 days of the conference event.

Sponsorships

The NFDA provides sponsorship opportunities to firms that wish to provide financial support for the Retreat & Conference. NFDA will acknowledge sponsors in the conference program and also provide an exhibit table to allow for the display of collateral materials. Firms interested in sponsorship opportunities should contact the Conference Coordinator directly.
