2015 MSI LONG COURSE CHAMPIONSHIP MEET

We have 35swimmers signed up for State Meet this weekend. State Meet is our chance as a team to show everyone around the state how hard we have been working. The coaches are excited and can’t wait to see everyone cut time. Congratulations to everyone who qualified and Good Luck! Remember this is a prelim-final meet for all swimmers 11 and over (10 and under will only swim in the morning). That means 11 & over will swim prelims in the morning. The top 16 swimmers will come back and swim in the evening with the top 8 swimmers in the Finals and 9-16 in Consolation finals. Both Finals and Consolation finals score points for the team. NO points are scored in prelims except 10 & under. You must swim finals to score. We need as many swimmers to make finals as possible. Relays will be swam only once as a timed final in the morning only. If you are only swimming relays on a day, then you should show up at 9:30 am for warm-ups. Make sure you swim as fast as possible in the morning to make it back to finals.
Warm-up Schedule:
Thursday Afternoon: 3:15-4:00 pm
FridayPrelims: 6:30-7:15am
Saturday Prelims: 7:15-8:00am
Sunday Prelims: 6:30-7:15 am
Friday, Saturday, and Sunday Finals:around 4:00 – 5:00 pm
(It will be announced each day)
Everyone needs to make sure they show up to the meet. If anyone does not show up it will cost us several relays and a lot of points

If you don’t have one of these shirts, just wear another Makos shirt.
Distance event swimmers will have to provide their own timers. We have one lane to time throughout the entire meet. Please help out
