Dear Graduating Senior:
As co-chairs of the 2001 Senior Class Gift Committee, we invite you to participate in an annual La Salle tradition of the graduating class. The Senior Class Gift is presented in appreciation for our time at La Salle and to foster a spirit of giving that remains with us long after we leave.
As we begin the semester, there are a few things we would like you to keep in mind: Happening Hour has been scheduled for September 22 in Backstage, a post-game reception will be held after Homecoming at Arena’s from 5:00 p.m-7:00 p.m on September 23, and Senior Migration to a La Salle football game at Catholic University on September 30. The 2001 Senior Class Gift is going to be better than ever! We want to give back to La Salle what it has given to us, something to be proud of.
Did you know that La Salle depends on annual gifts from alumni, parents, faculty and staff, friends, and seniors? Gifts to the Annual Fund support things like faculty development, financial aid, computers, and student life initiatives. Please see the enclosed brochure to learn more about the Annual Fund. We feel that with your help and participation, this year is going to be the best ever.
The Senior Class Gift is a very special way to begin a lifelong tradition of giving back to La Salle. We encourage your to make your gift in honor of or in memory of someone who has made your time at La Salle special. It can be a family member, friend, professor, or someone else that is important to you. This is a perfect way to show someone how much you appreciate him or her. Plus, if your gift is made before November 1, you will receive 3 complimentary tickets to a Senior Gift Honoree Brunch at Parents’ Weekend on November 11 at 10:30 a.m in the Faculty Dining Room.
We invite you to participate by making a pledge to the Senior Class Gift this fall. Complete the enclosed pledge card and return it to either a member of the SYE committee or Trey Ulrich in the Office for University Advancement, 4th Floor Administration Building. Let’s make our senior year an awesome experience, and set the standard for the century by making the 2001 Senior Class Gift the largest class gift to La Salle.
Thank you for your participation and see you at the Happening Hour on the September 22nd.
Sincerely,
Megan Barnett ’01Dennis Miguel ’01
