2017 Washingtonville Seahawk Winter Classic

SITE:Washingtonville High School Pool, Washingtonville, NY is a 25 Yard pool with six lanes, non-turbulent lane dividers with a Colorado Timing system Hy-Tek Software.

ENTRIES: The cost is $4.00 per individual event. The relay cost is $8.00 per relay. Hy-Tek and sd3 entry files should sent to Laura Field

Make checks payable to Washingtonville Seahawks and send to PO Box 155, Washingtonville, NY 10992. All entries must be received by January 18, 2017

ENTRY LIMIT:Swimmers will be limited to 3 individual events per session and one relay. Open events are open to all who qualify

RULES:ESSL rules will govern this meet. All events are timed finals.

AWARDS:An assortment of swim medals and ribbons will be awarded to swimmers who place from first through twelfth place and relays to sixth place. Heat ribbons will be awarded and scoring to twelfth place. Trophies will be awarded to first, second and third place teams. A swimmer that eclipses the cut off times will receive a Time Breaker Award.

WARM-UPS:Morning warm-ups will be held at 9:00 AM and afternoon warm ups will be held no earlier than 2:00 PM. Teams will be assigned warm-up lanes when they arrive at the meet.

ELIGIBILITY: All swimmers must be registered in the ESSL. Swimmers will swim their league age group. Swimmers must meet cut off time qualifications. (See attached events sheets) for all NON-OPEN events. Swimmer’s times must be no faster than the cut off times. All swimmers must have entry times.

CONDITIONS:Washingtonville Seahawks Swim Team and their agents or representatives shall be held free and harmless from all liabilities or claims for damages arising by reason of injuries to anyone during the conduct of this event.

SEEDING:All coaches must check in at registration to pick up your meet package. Deck seeding will be used. Scratches are due at computer table no later than 10:00 AM for the morning session and thirty minutes before the afternoon session begins.

Heat sheets will be distributed to all teams prior to the meet start. They will also be posted at each end of the pool. It will be the swimmer and coaches’ responsibility to determine their heat and lane assignments. Extra attention will be given to 10 and under during their session.
