July 30 Announcements
#1) Potluck at Upper Tuthill Park
There is no evening service on July 30th. Instead, we are having a potluck at Upper Tuthill Park at 6pm. This is an excellent time to grow together as a family of disciples. Tableware will be provided, but everyone is asked to bring an entree to share, as well as a side based on your last name (A-K = Dessert, L-Z = Salad/Appetizer).
#2) Women’s Gathering / Fellowship Night
Thursday, August 3 at 7:00 pm. Invite a friend and join us for a short program, fellowship and connection. Bring a sweet or savory goody to share – no peanuts please. No sign-up needed. If you have questions contact Mary Lynne at (612) 209-0578 or . We look forward to having you join us!
#3) Sunday Service Opportunities
If you can help in either of these ways, please contact the Church Office.
Nursery: Combining into one service increases our nursery numbers. Therefore, more volunteers are needed. Please consider being a part of this important and precious ministry to our littlest ones and their parents.
Children's Church: We are also in need of more volunteers to help in Children's Church (takes place during the sermon) each week during the summer.
Allergy Notice
Due to severe peanut allergies in our congregation, we can absolutely have NO peanut products in our building. This applies to any day of the week and for any activity you may be attending in our building.
We have attendees with fragrance allergies. We have designated the first six rows of the left section of our sanctuary (as you look at the stage) for them. If you wear fragrances, we would appreciate you avoiding that area.

YA Events (Young Adults Single Activity Group)
Road Trip! Okoboji fun in the sun! Sunday, August 6 we will leave from Fitch's house (5704 W 53rd) at 11:15am to head up to Okoboji. Please RSVP Pam at 201-1499.

Canaries Baseball Game! The youth group is going to the Sioux Falls Canaries game on Wednesday, August 23. Tickets are $8 a person. If interested contact Pastor Dan at .
Looking for someone to speak at the Union Gospel Mission for their chapel service on Saturday, August 26 at 7:45pm. Please contact Barry Termaat at 359-6819 with any questions or if you are willing to speak that night.
