Ab:The Applicant will receive 2 pt per NSC Research Project (excluding industrial project), which NSC will give an additional NT$10,000 as PI Salary in accordance with the regulations.[NSC has increased the amount of PI Salary since 2005: 12 pt for 1st Class (NT$25,000), 6 pt for 2nd Class (NT$20,000), 2 pt for 3rd Class (NT$10,000) and 0 pt for 4th Class (NT$5,000)].
Ac: The Applicant will receive 6 pt if he/she has won NSC Dr. Wu Da-Yu Award (This award can only be used for promotion once); 20 pt per NSC Outstanding Research Award he/she won.
Ad: If the main inventor has applied for a patent under the name of NSYSU or render the patent to NSYSU (excluding patents registered with a manufacturer as the co-applicant) which is approved by the Operation Center of Industry and University Cooperation, the Applicant will receive 1 pt for every R.O.C and P.R.C patent; 2 pt for every U.S.A., Japan and U.N. patent; patents from other countries need to be approved by the Operation Center of Industry and University Cooperation, with a maximum of 2 pt each.
Ae: It the main inventor and industries (including enterprises and corporations) has applied for technology transfer or copyright, which is approved by the Operation Center of Industry and University Cooperation, the Applicant will receive 0.5 pt when the authorization fees reach NT$200,000 and additional 0.25 pt for every NT$100,000 above NT$200,000, up to a maximum of 5 pt.
Af: If the Applicant is the principal investigator of Cooperative Education Programs authorized by non-government institute (enterprises and corporations) and approved by the OperationCenter of Industry and University Cooperation, the Applicant receives 0.5 pt when the project fund reaches NT$500,000 and additional 0.1 pt for every NT$100,000 above NT$500,000, up to a maximum of 5 pt.
Ag: For the educational project of Ministry of Education that is approved by the Operation Center of Industry and University Cooperation, the Applicant receive 1 pt if the research fund reaches NT$1 million, 0.5 pt if the research fund is less than NT$1 million. The Applicant can only receive a maximum of 5 pt and every project can only gain points once. If the Applicant is a co- investigator of the project, signatures of all investigators are required to confirm the ratio of individual contributions, and points will be given accordingly.
The sum of the above 8 Items (Aa+Aa-1+Ab+Ac+Ad+Ae+Af+Ag) must not exceed 25 pt, and the sumn of 3 Items (Ad+Ae+Af)must not exceed 12 pt.
