==LFV Process==
The first step for us in getting the process started is for you to enter the metadata into workspace.
LFV Product must be set up as its own product and NOT linked to any physical DVD or Blueray Product set up.
The set up and delivery timelines are as follows
  • Metadata & art files needs to be entered / uploaded -8-10weeks out from street
  • Video files (video & Trailer) including QC report, Cue Sheet –6-8weeks out from street

1 ART FILE– The Cover Art tab of Workspace has been modified to validate long form video cover art as well.Rental 3.99/4.99 SRP

or watermarks)

  • Detailed music cues may be required for a Video to be released through certain Digital Services.
  • VOD Rights? If so, is start date same as download sales start date?
  • the time codes for when each chapter begins
  • Closed Caption – Now required as per FCC regulations
  • Chapter Names/ Titles and Start Times – Time in which each chapter begins. Must be in following format: 00:00:00:00
How to name the deliverables and instructions on
uploading them
VIDEO (Film & Trailer), Cue Sheet, QC Report -MUST BE UPLOADED TO THE ORCHARD ASPERA as outline below
  1. Ensure the video files are named properly as UPC_FilmName_Master.mov or UPC_FileName_Trailer.mov (UPC should be LFV UPC, not the physical UPC of DVD,
    and please remove any special characters from the FilmName).
  2. The QC report is (also attached here) should be uploaded to the ASPERA site. Named:UPC_FilmName_QC Report
  3. The Cue Sheet (a blank exmaple attached here) should be uploaded to the ASPERA site. Named:UPC_Cuesheet.xls
  4. Ensure all art files are labeled correctly with the film title so they can easily be spotted them.
  5. If you have not already installed the Aspera Connect application on your computer, install it at:
  6. If you just installed the app, restart your browser (Chrome or Safari is recommended, Firefox has issues with Aspera sometimes).
  7. Go to enter the userTHEORCHARD\contentdropand the passwordUpl0@d49( FYI - Aspera server forces users to login with a specific
    casing. Please use THEORCHARD\contentdrop rather than theorchard\contentdrop.)
  8. Click the Upload button and select the file(s) to transfer.
  9. This opens the Aspera Connect application and the transfer will run in the background. You can then leave the website or close your internet browser. Once the
    transfer is done the transfer window will say Done.
  10. Aspera can be used to upload all files, but please make sure the files are labeled correctly with the film title so we can easily spot them.
