2.MD.7 Sample Assessment Items earning a “4” in reporting system
It is Monday morning and Anna has to go to school. Her sister Paris gets up at 8:10, but Anna has to get up exactly 1 hour earlier to do her homework. Her sister Paris catches the bus at 9:15, but Anna has to catch her bus a half an hour earlier than Paris. Paris eats lunch at 12:20, but Anna eats lunch 45 minutes earlier. Paris gets home at 3:05 and Anna gets home 35 minutes later.
Write the times for Anna on the clocks. Be sure to include “a.m.” and “p.m.”
[Have clock faces and blanks to write the digital numbers and a.m. or p.m.]
  • Time Anna gets up
  • Time Anna catches the bus
  • Time Anna eats lunch
  • Time Anna gets home
