Tournament Rules

1.  Only Black Bass measuring over fourteen inches (14) and limited to five (5) bass per team per day.

2.  If a team bring in more than five (5) bass, the largest bass will be rejected.

3.  Two ounces will be deducted from the total weight for each dead bass presented for weigh-in.

4.  Artifical bait or pork rinds can be used. NO LIVE BAIT!

5.  You can have as many rigged rods and reels you wish but you can use one rigged set of rod and reel at one time.

6.  The use of trolling motor, depth finder, thermometers and Ph monitors are permitted.

7.  You must obey the laws of Texas Parks and Wildlife.

8.  During tournament, each contestant is required to wear a fastened U.S. Coast Guard Approved life preserver anytime the combustion engine is in operation.

9.  All Two-Man Teams must fish and remain in the same boat unless there is reasonable cause. The two-man team must let committee know, so the committees can get prepared for them each day. If there is no reasonable cause, we will not be responsible.

10.  All fish brought in must be in plastic bag with water. The bags will be provided at the weigh-in site.

11.  In case of ties, prize money will be divided equally between tied winning teams.

12.  Fishing is permitted any place on this lake except within 50 yards of another contestant’s boat or marina headquarters.

13.  Sportsmanship, courtesy, safety, and conservation are expected of each contestant. If the contestant does not follow, he/she will be disqualified from the tournament.

14.  Any complaints about our committees should be reqported to the Host Chairperson who will be the judge. The Host Chairperson has the right to decide whether or not anyone will be disqualified.

15.  All boats must be equipped with an emergency ignition shut-off device which must be securely attached to the driver’s body whenever the combustion engine is in operation.

16.  All dead fishes will be resonsibilty by the hosted tournament club.
