Regulations
1. Eligibility
The Busan International Kids’ Film Festival (BiKi) accepts films in the categories of features, experimental, documentaries, short films and animation. We would like to ask you to understand that we only accept 35mm film or Digital Video (NTSC) formats for a unified screening management system. The festival program gives priority to world and international premiere screenings. All screenings musthave been completed no earlier than July 2013. All films and videos must be subtitled in English.
2. Entry and Material Submission
Official Entry Form must be completed, signed and submitted by June 13, 2014.The entry form along with following materialsexcept preview DVD must be sent via e-mail address:
The preview DVD and other optional material must be sent via air mail at your own expense to the festival secretariat office by June13, 2014.

3. Print Transportation and Liability
The print must arrive at the festival office betweenJuly 1 and July 10, 2014. The print provider is requested to inform us about flight, carrier, manner and date of shipment.
The print should be sent via our official carrier, DHL, if possible. An invoice must accompany the print, indicating name of the sender, title of the film, its length and total number of reels. We agree to cover the cost of shipping and insuring prints both ways. The exception is shipments to and/or from other festivals, in which standard practice of cost sharing will apply. We will not take responsibility of customs duty or cover the shipping cost following the import/export of those films.
All prints will be returned within two weeks after the festival to the address indicated on the entry form. If the film has to be returned to another address, the print provider should fax the shipping instruction before with desired date of arrival and return address marked in it.
4. Agreement
Entry and participation of films implies understanding and acceptance of the regulations, in accordance with the International Regulations
5.Notes on Regulations
Subtitling
The subtitling mode by the festival is electronic subtitling, therefore there will be no harm on the print. The film must be presented in the original language version with English subtitles. Preview DVD must be in the same version as the print being showcased. If the original language is not English, please send English Subtitle List (for DVD and print).
Official Catalogue
Any selected film is generally presented in the official catalogue by: the director's biography, filmography and photo, the film synopsis in English and in Korean, and credits, name and contact information of sales agent or print source, one still from the film. If above documents are not arrived by the deadline (June13, 2014), it can be presented blank for such materials.
Print Traffic
The print must be sent to the office by July 10, 2014. It is highly recommended to use DHL, our official courier service (our account number will be informed on the shipping instruction later.) Please remark the value on the invoice as less than US$100, with the statement “imported on temporary admission, to be returned after festival.” If by any chance the print can't be arrived by the print deadline, please inform the festival office with written document before the print deadline with indications when and from where the print will be sent to the festival.
