Now you are all set to write your diamante ! Here’s how you can use this worksheet to create your poem:

Use question 2 to formulate the first line, your title.

Use question 4 to formulate the third line. Out of the 6 “ing” verbs, choose 3 to describe your title.

Use questions 2 and 5 to formulate the fourth line. Choose 2 adjectives from question 2 that describe your title. Then put a hyphen. Out of the 6-8 adjectives in question 5, choose 2 that describe the OPPOSITE of your title. Place them after the hyphen.

Use question 6 to write the fifth line. Out of the 6 “ing” verbs, choose 3 that describe the OPPOSITE of your title.

Use question 5 to write the sixth line. Out of the 6-8 adjectives, choose 2 that describe the OPPOSITE of your title.

For the seventh, and last line of your diamante, write the word you chose as the opposite of your title.
