-A moving testimony/thankgiving item shared by your cell member

-A prayer Item that you wish to escalate to your Zone Leader/Pastor

-Significant reason(s) why a cell member is absent

-Information on New Visitors

  1. Cell Group Accountability

Last Sunday was Baptismal Sunday, when 15 persons were baptised and in addition 8 persons were added to the membership of the church. Senior Pastor stressed about the importance of us to be part of the local church and to be actively engaged in growing in our respsective cell groups.

Go around and ask:

1)How many among us have yet to be baptised in water? What is keeping you from taking that step of faith?

2)How many have yet to join as a member of DUMC? Why?

3)If you are already a member of DUMC, are you living out the vows you made, as a member of the church (e.g. praying consistently for the church, being diligent in studying Scripture and serving actively)? Why (or why not)?

4)Who are those in our cell group who have not been coming regularly recently? Do they feel valued by us? What can we do to reach out to them?

WORD Activity Sheet (for Printing)

A servant is someone whose heart and will are bound to the will and wishes of another. If I am your servant, then what you say goes. You have the last word.

#1: Christ has asked us to serve others. Questions to answer:

Why did Jesus ask us to serve? / What impact does serving have on us? / What impact does it have on others?

#2: If we are all called to serve, why are so many reluctant to serve? Why do only some do?

Reasons why people do not serve / Reasons why people serve

To discuss as a Cell Group: Which of the two categories above am I in, and why?

#3: Are we aware of our skills, abilities and talents? Take 5 minutes to list them out based on your ‘SHAPE’. Then, read it out to your cell group and see whether these are affirmed by them.

S: Spiritual Gifts – My gifts are ______

H: Heart – I am passionate for ______

A: Abilities – My abilities are ______

P: Personality – I am ______

E: Experiences – My life experience includes ______

#4: Having been aware of my SHAPE, how can I use these to serve within or outside the church to add value to others?

______

#5: What tangible step(s) would I take this week to serve someone?
