Week: December 7, 2015 Parent Initials: ______

Homework is an intricate part of your child’s academic learning. Please sit with your child nightly to assist them in their work. Sitting with your child also shows them that you care and value their education.

*DON’T FORGET YOUR DAILY AFTERNOON HEALTHY SNACK!

IMPORTANT!! Whenever your child is reading, make sure they point to the word they are reading. This will teach them to use their finger as a guide and help them keep track of where they are in the passage.

Dear Parents,

There are a lot of books not being returned during our class library time. Mrs. Boling has sent home a letter if your child’s book is missing. If your child has lost the book and you pay for the book, please realize that the district policy is NO REFUNDS. Therefore, if you find the book you can either keep it or donate it back to the library.

Reiley Elementary is back to RECYCLING! If you would like to bring you plastic bottles, glass, paper and aluminum you are more than welcome to use our bin. J

Mrs. Fancy Nancy Burns is coming in again this month to make learning “Cause and Effect” a fun event! The students and I love having her in to co-teach.

If you are not getting the Monthly Roadrunner Report from Mrs. Rath please let me know. I want to make sure you are receiving it.

It is that time of year again. Be sure to bring or wear a jacket every day. If the weather allows us to go outside…we will! Fifteen minutes doesn’t sound like a lot of outside time…but when it is 40 degrees it’s too long to be outside without layers!

I hope you all are enjoying preparing for Christmas. I LOVE this time of year! The classroom tree is up and we are listening to holiday music whenever possible! J

As always, THANKS for everything!
