· MASS- All First Graders will be attending Mass every Monday and on days of obligation.
(Mass starts at 8:30am Formal Mass Uniform required).

· Students may bring a book from home that they can successfully read on their own. They will practice reading this book in class to help them read with fluency.
· HIGH FREQUENCY WORDS:
First grade students must practice high frequency words with an adult at home. recommendation: at least 3 x a week. High Frequency words must be learned by sight.
Be looking out for the high frequency words sheet as they will be sent home weekly. Please use them as flash cards for practice.
