  1. Congratulations! We are happy to inform you that your name appears in the Merit List for admission to B.Ed. 2014.The Admission Counseling Date and Time are mentioned on the Address Label pasted on this letter.
  1. Enclosed herewith are:

(a)Acceptance Letter

(b)Consent of Mentors for School-Based Activities.

(c)Option form for choice of PSC

  1. If you are Offered seat under “Reserved Category” merit list, it is mentioned on the address label pasted on this letter. It is your responsibility to enclose all certificates including “Caste Validity Certificate” and prove that you are eligible for admission under this category. If relevant certificates are not submitted, your admission is liable for rejection.
  1. You must attend Counselling on the Date and time given to you. You must arrange and submit your application in the following order:-

i) Demand Draft from any Nationalized Bank for Rs.20,000/- (Rupees Twenty thousand only) in favour of Indira Gandhi National Open University, payableatPune. Write your Name, Enrolment Number, Phone No. and Programme on the reverse of the Demand Draft.

ii) Acceptance Form, duly filled in andsigned.

iii) Photocopies of the following documents duly attested by a Gazetted Officer.

a)Secondary/High School and Senior Secondary/Intermediate Certificates and Mark sheets.Secondary/High School certificate indicating the date of birth.

b)Degree and mark-sheets of Graduation and Post Graduation, if applicable

Note: - Please bring your original certificates of above all at the time of counseling for verification of attested certificates.

c)Students directly admitted to 2nd year of Under-Graduate programmmes of YCMOU (B.A./BCOM etc.) under lateral entry must possess the Mark-sheet and Certificate of 10+2 and two year full time Diploma in Education(D.Ed) conducted by Govt. of Maharashtra. They will submit the attested Mark-sheet and Certificate of following documents in addition to the above mentioned

Note: Please bring your Original certificates/mark-sheet of 10+2,Two year D.Ed Diploma in Edn(DED), FirstDegree(B.A./B.Com) awarded by YCMOU at the time of counselling for verification of attested certificates.

d)Proof of change in name, if applicable.The following documents are required for those whose name/surname has been changed.

(a) Notarized Affidavit with changed name(b) News Paper copy notification for change of name was published(c) Copy of Gazette notification. In case of changed surname after marriage, a marriage certificate copy by Registrar,Marriage.

e)OBC (Non-Creamy Layer) Certificate of current financial year with Annual Income certificate, wherever applicable.

f)Category Certificatefor SC / ST / PH / Kashmiri Migrant / War Widow Category, wherever applicable.

Note: No change of Category is permitted post entrance examination.

g)All Letter(s) of Appointment and Experience Certificate(s) in original fromRecognizedSchool.(Experience certificate as per format given in student Hand book and Prospectus).

h)Permission of the Principal/Head Master of a High/Higher Secondary School to do School-Based Activities in the format given in the Student Handbook and Prospectus.

i)Course Option and Consent of Mentors for School-Based Activities (Copy enclosed).

j)Original Hall Ticket of Entrance Exam Sept 2013.

k)Identity Card duly filled in (Blank Identity Card is there in your prospectus)

l)School Recognition Certificate issued by the Central/State Government for the school where applicant is employed.

m)Original Anti ragging Affidavit in the prescribed format duly Notarized and signed by Parents and applicant.(Formats are given Student Handbook)

5.Please note the following: -

“This offer of admission is provisional and is based on the qualification and experience furnished by you in the application form. If at a later stage, it is found that the information submitted by you is false, your admission shall stand cancelled forthwith and no fee refund will be admissible in the event of such cancellation of admission.”

(i) Programme Study Centre will be allocated to you on the basis of your merit in the entrance test and choice of your preference subject to the availability of seats at the Programme Study Centre. In case you fail to attend Admission Counselling on the date and time on which you have been invited for the counseling,you will lose your choice of preference. The University will allot you the PSC as per the availability of Seats. No request for change in study centre will be entertained.

(ii)The Fee Receipt Cum Confirmation Letter will be sent to you after the admission is finalized.

(iii)No interim queries will be entertained, please.

(iv) In case, you are unable to take admission, for any reason whatsoever, please inform immediately so that the candidate ranking next in order of merit can be granted admission.

v) Medium & Course once opted will not be changed, at a later date.

6You are advised to present in person at the IGNOU Regional Centre,Pune office on date mentioned in merit listwithout fail, with your application form and all enclosures(attested and original wherever applicable) in the order given in this letter, failing which your offer of admission stands cancelled and your seat will be offered to the next person on the merit list.IGNOU will not be held responsible for any postal delay. No further communication will be entertained.
