1st European Universities Athletics Cup

/ The 1st European Universities Athletics Cup will take place in the town of Camerino (MC), at the University Stadium "Livio Luzi", located in the area “Le Calvie”, on Friday 25th and Saturday 26th of July 2008. Each university must subscribe to the track races one relay team and two competitors for each individual test. An athlete, throughout the day, can compete in an individual and to a relay race.

/ For the 100’s males and females races will run off groups, prospective semi-finals and finals, as established on the following point n. 4.

/ If groups are provided, the races will be conducted as following:
Competitors / Groups / Semi-finals / Qualifications to the finals
Up to 6 / = / = / Final at the scheduled time of finals
from 07 to 12 / 2 / = / 1° e 2° of each race group + 2 best times
from 13 to 18 / 3 / = / 1° + 3 best times
from 19 to 24 / 4 / = / 1° of each race group
over 24 / more than 4 / 2 / First 3 classified of each semi-finals

/ The "series" of relay teams will be formed taking into account the seasonal personnel records of individual competitors. These times will be given upon confirmation of subscriptions. In "competitions" if the number of participants is more than 18, two groups of competitors will be provided.

/ The confirmation of subscriptions to the various trials, will be given not later than 60 minutes prior to the established time of the competition, after showing the "Document of Participation" issued by the Control Commission that will be in Camerino. Entry confirmations will be not accepted by competitors that are not in possession of this "Document of Participation".

/ At the end of the championship two rankings for each university, one for males and one for females, will be done adding the scores achieved by the athletes. Points will be awarded to competitors of the finals or, in case of series, to those who have achieved the best 8 results. For purposes of classification for each trial, the following points will be assigned: to first runner will be allocated the same number of points as the subscribed teams, and for each subsequent position one point less.

Meeting time at 15:00 - beginning time of races 16.00
