INSTRUCTIONS FOR SUBMITTING ABSTRACTS

Typing: Please submit the abstract in English, typed using a word processor. The text should fit in the frame. Please ensure that your abstract does not contain any error in spelling, grammar or scientific fact. Accepted abstracts will be published as received.

Use 10-point Times New Roman font, and type the title of the abstract in lower-case bold letters. If necessary, you may include tables, graphs and figures.

If the paper has more than one author, underline the name of the author who will present it.

Content: The abstract should contain a concise statement of the study purpose (“Introduction”), followed by sections headed “Methods”, “Results” and “Conclusions”.

Submission: Return the completed form to the NATA Secretariat:

Deadline: Deadline for receipt of abstracts: January 15, 2018.

Evaluation: All abstracts will be evaluated by the Scientific Committee.

Confirmation of acceptance or rejection will be notified by February 9, 2018 to the mailing address provided in the section on the presenting author.

Posters: Poster display: Accepted abstract will be presented as posters. The posters will be placed on 240 cm high and 90 cm wide boards (portrait format) and displayed during the whole duration of the symposium. We recommend to print all posters in DIN A0 (A ZERO) format (119 cm high and 84 cm wide). It is suggested to set up your poster(s) between 8:00-8:45 on Thursday, April 20.

Poster visits: Each poster will be visited by two moderators during one of the five breaks of the symposium. The programme of poster visits will be made available by the end of February 2017. Please make sure you are available to discuss your poster with the moderators at the scheduled time.

Best Posters: The presenters of the 8 best-rated abstracts will be invited to give a 5-minute presentation followed by a 3-minute discussion during the Best Posters session scheduled on April 12 from 16:40 to 18:10. The 3 best oral communications will selected by audience voting using the “NATA Forum” App.

Registration: Only presenting authors who register for the symposium by March 12, 2018 will have their abstract(s) published in the abstract book.
