AN ACT TO AMEND ACT 745 OF 1967, AS AMENDED, RELATING TO THE BOUNDARIES OF WESTERN CAROLINA REGIONAL SEWER AUTHORITY, SO AS TO ADD TWO NEW AREAS TO THE TERRITORY OF THE AUTHORITY.

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of the State of South Carolina:

SECTION1.Act 745 of 1967, as last amended by Act 482 of 1994, is further amended by adding additional territory as follows:

“Section 2.4.The service area of the Western Carolina Regional Sewer Authority shall also include the area described by the following metes and bounds:

SECTION2.Act 745 of 1967, as last amended by Act 482 of 1994, is further amended by adding additional territory as follows:

“Section 2.5.The service area of the Western Carolina Regional Sewer Authority shall also include the area described by the following metes and bounds:

BEGINNING at a point on the existing boundary of the Western Carolina Regional Sewer Authority 200' east of Fairview Church Road; thence 200' parallel with Fairview Road (SC State No. 2355) 0.3 miles to a point 200' beyond the intersection with McKelvey Road; thence along and parallel, on the east side of McKelvey Road 0.5 miles to a point 200' east of the intersection of Hillside Church Road; thence along Hillside Church Road 200' parallel for 3.4 miles to a point 200' parallel of McKittrick Bridge Road (S23985) for 2.6 miles to a point 200' southwest of Dunklin Bridge Road or SC State No. 2368; thence 200' parallel and on southwest side of Dunklin Bridge Road or SC Highway 2368 for 5.1 miles to a point 200' southwest of McKelvey Road; thence along McKelvey Road on the southwest side for 1.0 mile to a point 200' south of intersection of McKelvey and McKittrick Roads; thence 200' along and parallel to McKelvey Road 1.5 miles to a point in the center of US Highway 25; thence 200' southeast and parallel to Pearson Road to a point 1.6 miles to a point 200' east of State Highway 247; thence 200' east and parallel to State Highway 247 for 1.5 miles to the intersection of Butterick Drive and State Highway 247; thence in a westerly direction and 200' south and parallel to Butterick Drive to the center of the Saluda River; thence up the center of the Saluda River in a northerly direction 3.7 miles to the existing Western Carolina Regional Sewer Authority boundary at the intersection of a branch from the west.”

Time effective

SECTION3.This act takes effect upon approval by the Governor.

Ratified the 28th day of April, 1999.
