a.  a current curriculum vita listing your educational background and work experience (send via email or via regular mail)

b.  a letter from your principal endorsing your request and stating that she/he expects that you will continue to have an assignment next year that will afford you the opportunity to integrate East Asia into your teaching; please send via fax 213-821-2382, email () or via regular mail

c.  a check for $50 (payable to University of Southern California) to Linda Truong at the mail address below, this check holds your registration slot; if you are actively participating, it will be returned to you halfway through the course

Selection for the seminar will be based on our assessment of how ready and likely applicants are to make effective use of the seminar and the materials provided to engage their students in studying East Asia. This program is part of the National Consortium for Teaching about Asia effort funded by the Freeman Foundation.
