Construction and Renovation for 42 years includes application of skills in framing, foundation, environmental analysis and plot planning, electrical wiring and residential inspection for code update and compliance, interior and exterior finishing and landscaping. I currently own eleven properties in Louisiana and Oklahoma which I personally maintain without subcontracting and have owned, renovated, and maintained two others.

Home Maintenance has been a focus for more than 30 years through my teaching of multiple sections of university and community courses in home maintenance, maintenance of my own properties, development of my own local television show which emphasized the myriad of topics dealing with home maintenance and done so at the request of producers of the public channel in Oklahoma,

Environmental Ceramics Instructor for North Texas Community

Achieved popular community support by developing and organizing evening ceramics programs while teaching at Grayson Community College. Developed approach to the study of ceramics from an interdisciplinary viewpoint using clays and glaze materials which were gathered from natural sources on field trips and fired in primitive and self-constructed kilns.

In this role I conducted School Assemblies, teacher workshops, and community programs in Creative Development and Problem Solving through the State Arts Council of Oklahoma for 8 years.

Served in various capacities through professional memberships in Louisiana Vocational Association, National Association of Industrial Technology, National Art Education Association, and the International Technology Education Association. Also active in community and International Service organizations.

State Co-coordinator and Co-chairman for Louisiana Special Olympics Basketball Tournament

Organized and Ran Louisiana Special Olympics State Tournament in February 1991.

Alternate Malone Fellow

Selected as Alternate Malone Fellow in 1991. After preparation for Fellowship's Technological exchange with Saudi Arabia, trip was disbanded because of the war in Kuwait.
