Detailed Description: 1965 H-295in excellent condition, very clean, fresh out of annual inspection, no squawks,new 29” Airhawk Tires. Long range 100 gallon tank configuration. New auxiliaryfuel tank bladders installed. Extensive rebuilding and upgrading work completed over past 4 annuals. Current Annual inspection validto June 2019.Always a Private aircraft, non Military. Originally produced as a H-250, but was converted to H-259 with Helio Factory &FAA approval in October 1973, with the GO 480-G1D6 engine and 96” 3 blade Hartzell Prop installed.

Exterior Paint in excellent condition. Interior Paint New. Interior carpets all new, with FAA burn certificates included, as well as new under flooring.

Engine: Lycoming GO-480-G1D6 295hp.SMOH: 587 Total Time. 29.0 hours Engine time since complete tear down inspection of engine and gear reduction box, completed at Bolduc Aviation Minneapolis, MN.Cleaned Magnafluxed inspect all internal steel parts. Rebalance crankshaft and counterweights. Crankcase Zylco and Bore checked, and confirmed all within specs. Ney Nozzles for extra oiling to the Camshaft installed in Oklahoma. Engine rebuilt at Bolduc Aviation Minneapolis, MN. Engine mount removed for complete inspection, paint removed, no defects found, Engine mount repainted, and reinstalled. New engine mounts, Engine reinstalled. Engine repainted to Lycoming standard. Installed Newly rebuilt Bendix starter, New 28 volt Alternator, STC for JASCO alternator system. New Engine electric fuel boost pump. For cold weather ops startinga Newelectric Tanis Heater system is installed on intake studs and oil pan. Spin on remote mounted STC’d Air Wolf Oil filter installed.Very smooth running Engine.

Propeller: Hartzell 96” HC-93Z20. TSOH 280 hours and new Hartzell Blades installed. New Hartzell Special order Original Spinner, and Newcomplete spinner back-plate assembly installed. Prop Overhauled, and New Blades and Spinner Back-plate, installed at Maxwell Propeller Minneapolis.

Extensive Wing carry through spar & wing attach points NDTinspection completed within the past 60 hours. Very clean, and no cracks or corrosion found.Inspection carried out by Commercial aircraft specialists, Aviation Technical Testing Inc. St Paul, MN. Next wing spar inspection due in 1440 hours.

ADs & STCs.All ADs complied with, and complete up to date AD list with logbooks, as well as STCs, and 337s.Logbooks from first Helio Factorycertification test flight June 21, 1965, to current. Well maintained aircraft.

Main landing gear upgrade with Mod 451A, Main landing gear Oleos rebuilt, and re-heat treated to Factory Spces. Alaskan Bushwheel ABI 1010 wheels installed, with Airhawk 29” non-buffed treaded tires & STC installed . New Heliotailwheel from Parker Cleveland with new5.00 x 5” Flight Custom III tire installed. New High-strength steel Main landing gear axels installed. New heavy duty dual puck Cleveland brakes installed.

Factory Tail wheel lock for takeoffs and landings, as well as tail wheel steering through rudder pedals incorporated.

New Windshield installed.

AVIONICS

Audio Panel: PS Engineering PMA6000/M. Pilot and co-pilot intercom, as well at headset and mic jacks installed for each passenger seat.

GPS, Bendix King KLN90-B GPS, Garmin Area 796 portable on Panel mounted RAM mount, with new GDL-39D ADS-B in antenna, with 2 batteries, and also powered from aircraft power.

2 Brand New TKM MX-11 760 channel, VHF radios.

HSI with ILS/VOR Nav. Receiver. HSI course deviation indicator can be selected to KLN 90B GPS, or to the ILS/LOC/VOR. Second Nav. Narco ILS/VOR receiver is installed.

2 New Exelis DM C70 VHF Antennas installed.

Bendix Eclipse Pioneer Remotely mounted Magnetic indicating Compass. (Transmitter-Magnesyn Remote Compass).

Transponder: New ADS-B OutStratus ESG with built in WAAS GPS. Class B airspace 2020 compliant.ADS-B in Stratus 2i powered from Avionics Bus, has WASS GPS. Iincludes Bluetooth into iPad for the Foreflight app. New Dual Stratus USB charging outlets installed. New standard TSO’d cigarette lighter style outlets for optional power supply. Clock: New Electronics International SC-5 Super Clock. 10 year Lithium battery. Rebuilt Classic Hamilton 8 Day 37500 Elapsed time Chronograph manual wind clock.

Lighting

2 Brand New high quality Grimes Aerospace cockpit map/floodlights 28V, PN 34265-17-REV-BE, were a Custom order from Honeywell. Note,these map/floodlights, dimmable and adjustable from Red to White, are the same as the currently installed model on new B777 & B747 aircraft. Standard cowling mounted taxi and landing lights have high outputvery low amperage drawAEROLEDS Sunspot LED lights.

New optionalGrimes wing mounted retractable landing lights installed, and have AEROLEDS Sunspot LED high output very low amp draw landing lights installed. These retractable lights were new old stock, still in the original sealed Grimes lighting box from the factory, and functionality is excellent. They literally light up the whole airport area.

Included with aircraft is an Additional set of brand new unused smooth 29” Alaskan Bushwheels mounted on new 6” Cleveland 6 bolt heavy duty wheels with STCs are included, as well as 2nd set of serviceable Axels and 8.5”x6” wheels & tires with heavy duty Cleveland brakes, and extras.
