19 Cases of Robbery/Burglary Solved with the arrest of 4 Accused.

With the arrest of 4 accused persons namely (1) Idrish s/o Farukh r/o D-451/2 Bulabd Masjid Jhuggi, Shastri Park, Age-23 yrs (2) Jeet Yadav s/o Kamal Yadav r/o Kaseem Vihar, Loni Ghaziabad, U.P. , Age-22 yrs (3) Riaz s/o Raju Khan r/o Kaseem Vihar Loni Ghaziabad U.P. Age-23 yrs (4) Rafeeq s/o Hasim r/o Kaseem Vihar Loni Ghaziabad U.P. age-22 yrs, 19 cases of robbery/snatching/MV Theft & House Burglary have been solved by Police Staff of PS-Bhajanpura on 29/03/2014.

INCIDENT :-

On 29/3/2014 at 3:15 PM an information was received by HC Sukhbir No. 250/NE that 4 robbers/snatchers will come for committing crime in the area of PS-Bhajanpura at 66’ road/MCD Court, Yamuna Vihar. On this information a team was constituted consisting of1. S.I Sahid Khan 2. HC Sukhbir 250/NE 3. HC Sanjeev kr 78/NE 4. Ct. Jagmohan/2829/NE and 5. Ct. Dayal 513/NE under the supervision of SHO/Bhajanpura and overall supervision of Addl. DCP/Sub Division Gokalpuri. A trap was placed on 66’ road near MCD court Yamuna Vihar. At about 4:00 PM 4 boys came on two motorcycle/Scotty. During checking it was found that motorcycle no. DL 5S-W-5258 driven by accused Idrish (Riaz was pillion rider) was found stolen from the area of PS-Bhajanpura vide FIR No. 392/14, u/s 379 IPC & Scotty No. DL 5S V 4126 driven by accused Jeet Yadav( Rafeeq-Pillion Rider) was found stolen vide FIR No. 244/14, u/s 379 IPC PS-Bhajanpura.

On making search of body of accused persons one Loaded Desi Katta with one live cartridge .315 mm was recovered from the possession of accused Riaz. Onebuttondar knife was recovered from the possession of accused Rafeeq. A case vide FIR No. 399/14, u/s 25/54/59 Arms Act and 411 IPC was registered at PS-Bhajanpura in this regard.

During the course of sustained interrogation all accused persons disclosed that they have been involved in various cases of burglary/robbery/snatching & MV Theft.

Today on 31st Mar. 2014, the Passing out Parade of 1st batch of HCAWO (Assistant Wireless Operators), 9899th batches of Constables (Male & Female) was held at PoliceTrainingCollege, Jharoda Kalan, New Delhi. They had joined their training in June & May 2013 respectively. They took the oath in a colorful ceremonial parade after successfully completing their basic training. Sh. Alok Kumar Verma, Special Commissioner of Police, Administraton, Delhi took the salute of the marching contingents. The parade was attended by other senior officers of Delhi Police.

This batch of AWO and Constables will augment the trained manpower available with Delhi Police. 156 HCs (AWO) including 4 Women and288 Constablesinclusive of 24 Women Constableswho were provided basic training at PoliceTraining School, Jharoda Kalan will be inducted into this Force. The training was of the highest order and included best practices, modern methodology and gender sensitization etc..

In his address to the Passing Out Batch The Special Commissioner of Police, Admn.,Delhi congratulated them for the successful completion of their training. He emphasized on their contribution, for effective initiation and implementation of polices and action plans related to a slew of issues facing the capital like; terrorism, maintenance of law and order, security of woman and weaker section etc. He particularly highlighted the fact that Delhi Police personnel have to work hard to establish trust and faith with the public soas to build a collaborative influence.He drew focus on the importance of Communication unit for effective policing in Delhi. He expressed his happiness that the Constables had also passed the commando training, enabling them in counter terrorism techniques, etc.

MAIN ACCUSED OF SENSATIONAL MURDER CASE OF PS HARSH VIHAR ARRESTED.

THE ACCUSED RAHUL @ SAHIL ALONGWITH A DOZEN ASSOCIATES HAD BRUTALLY KILLED A NOTORIOUS BAD CHARACTER OF PS HARSH VIHAR.

ONE COUNTRY MADE PISTOL ALONGWITH 3 LIVE CARTRIDGES RECOVERED.

INTRODUCTION:-

Crime Branch has arrested one Rahul @ Sahil (25 years) s/o Late Shashi Kumar r/o E-7, Sharma Colony, Mubarakpur Dabas, Delhifrom Mangol Puri area and recovered one sophisticated country made pistol of .315” alongwith 3 live cartridges from him. Rahul @ Sahil is accused in a sensational murder case of PS Harsh Vihar, North-East, Delhi in which he alongwith his other dozen associates had brutally killed one notorious Bad Character (BC) Vijay @ Bharat of PS Harsh Vihar, on 20.12.2013 after a quarrel took place in a marriage ceremony.

INFORMATION, TEAM AND OPERATION:-

During surveillance on active snatchers of Delhi, HC Yashpal Singhof South West Range received secret information on 29.03.2014 that one Rahul @ Sahil who is wanted in a sensational murder case of a notorious snatcher and active BC Vijay @ Bharat of PS Harsh Vihar, North-East District, Delhi would come near Sarvodaya Vidyalya, C-Block, Mangol Puri. The information further entailed that the criminal may possess weapons. This information was further developed and a core team of Crime Branch led by Insp. Yashpal Singh comprising of SI Sharad Kumar, HCs Yashpal Singh, Ravindra Singh and Ct Rajeev Sahrawat was constituted under the close supervision of ACP Hoshiyar Singh and overall guidance of DCP Bhisham Singh to nab the criminal.

The team laid a trap near the expected place and the accused was successfully apprehended. On his cursory search, one loaded .315” country made pistol alongwith 3 live cartridges was recovered from him. The accused was accordingly booked under Arms Act, 1959 in this regard.

INTERROGATION & DISCLOSURE:-

On sustained interrogation, the accused Rahul @ Sahil confessed his involvement in the sensational murder case of notorious BC Vijay @ Bharat on 20.12.2013 in the area of PS Harsh Vihar. He further disclosed that the deceased Vijay @ Bharat was his cousin and they belong to same community. The marriage of his younger sister was solemnized on 07.12.2013 in Sharma Colony, Mubarakpur Dabas, Delhi and all his relatives and family members attended the marriage including Vijay @ Bharat. In the marriage function, a quarrel took place between Vijay @ Bharat and other family members of Rahul @ Sahil. Vijay @ Bharat was in drunken state and was slapped by their other cousins Pawan and Kishan. Vijay @ Bharat felt insulted and on the next day i.e. on 08.12.2013, he alongwith his friends assaulted Pawan with blades in Harsh Vihar area and after that, on 18.12.2013, he alongwith his associates again assaulted Pawan’s brother Kishan. Kishan got fractures in his both legs in this assault.

The victim Kishan is also a notorious snatcher and a BC of PS Aman Vihar, Outer District, Delhi. He did not report the matter to police and they all decided to eliminate Vijay @ Bharat with the help of the accused Rahul @ Sahil and his younger brother Sagar. As per the plan, accused Rahul @ Sahil alongwith his about 11-12 associates/family members reached the house of Vijay @ Bharat in Mandoli, Harsh Vihar area in night and started mercilessly beating him with iron rods and severely stabbed him with knives. Vijay @ Bharat died on the spot due to such fatal injuries and the assailants fled away from the spot. There were 18-20 knife injuries over the body of the deceased.

In this case, total 7 accused persons have already been arrested by local police including Pawan, Kishan etc., Rahul @ Sahil, while the main accused Rahul @ Sahil and his younger brother Sagar were still at large.

Most of the females in the family are actively involved in bootlegging and have criminal backgrounds while the deceased Vijay @ Bharat was an active snatcher and was previously involved in about 25 cases of snatching/Arms Act, etc. The other accused Kishan is also a notorious snatcher. In the year 2010, he was arrested by Crime Branch, while he alongwith his associates was found involved in several incidents of snatchings in Delhi and Aurangabad (Maharashtra). They used to travel by air for commission of crime in far off places.

PROFILE:-

Rahul @ Sahil (25 years) s/o Late Shashi Kumar r/o E-7, Sharma Colony, Mubarakpur Dabas, Delhi is unmarried and illiterate, and has been booked in Arms Act in PS Rajouri Garden in 2013..

The concerned police station has been informed regarding his arrest. Investigation of the case is in progress. Efforts are on to apprehend other absconding accused of the case including Sagar.

GANG OF ATM THIEVES BUSTED.

The staff of Police Station Binda Pur, South West Distt has arrested two ATM thieves viz. Mohd. Mustik Ansari @ Ayan Khan @ Lucky (Aged-19yrs) and Shivam (Aged-20yrs.) Ten cases of ATM theft worked out.

GIST OF THE CASE

Sh. Raj Kumar reported that on 24.01.2014 he was withdrawing cash from SBI ATM machine situated at Arya Samaj Road, Main Najafgarh Road, Uttam Nagar. Since he was facing some difficulty in retrieving cash, an unknown boy standing in a queue came for help. When the cash could not be retrieved by the boy, he returned his ATM card. After some time he released that the boy changed his ATM card and also withdrew Rs. 16000/- from his account fraudulently. Upon this a case under relevant sections of law was registered at police station Binda Pur and investigation was taken up in right earnest.

BREAKTHROUGH

On registration of the case the police swung into action, a dedicated tema comprising Inspr. Rajbir Singh, ATO/Binda Pur, SI Ghasi Ram, HC Vijay Pal, HC Bhoop Singh & Ct. Sudhir of P.S Binda Pur /SWD team was constituted under the supervision of Sh. Om Prakash, ACP/Dabri and further, under the close supervision/guidance of the undersigned.

Acting on an information, accused Mohd. Mustik Ansari was arrested from Binda Pur extension, who disclosed that he alongwith Shivam committed several ATM thefts by sneaking the gullible person.

  1. Mohd. Mustik Ansari (aged-19) S/o Mohd Maniudeen Ansari r/o near old water tank, Vill. Bijwasan, New Delhi is school dropout of 10th class and originally hails from Bihar. He has rented accommodation and currently unemployed.
  2. Shivam (aged-20 yrs.) S/o Anil R/o H. No. 84, Naik Mohalla, Near Holi Chowk, Bijwasan is school dropout of 12th class. He is unmarried and originally hails from Meerut UP.

Further startling facts arised that duo have already been arrested in case FIR No. 418/13 u/s 420/34 IPC PS Palam Village.

AN INTERSTATE DRUG SUPPLIER ENGAGED IN THE SUPPLY OF MARIJUANA (GANJA) ARRESTED : 7 KGS OF FINE QUALITY MARIJUANA (GANJA) RECOVERED.

With the arrest of one drug peddler namely Naushad, aged 30 years r/o Zakir Nagar, Okhla, New Delhi, Central District police has recovered 7 Kgs. ganja from his possession.

TEAM & OPERATION

On 29/03/14, at about 07.00 PM during patrolling, staff of PS Chandni Mahal ASI S K Shrivastava, HC Vijay Kumar, Ct. Dinesh, Ct. Sanjeev and Ct. Sandeep reached at Fazil Road near Turkman Gate where they spotted one person with brown color bag coming from Turkman Gate side. On suspicion, he was asked to stop for checking but instead of stopping, he turned back and started walking hurriedly to escape from the spot. The police team acted swiftly and intercepted him after a brief chase. During sustained interrogation, he disclosed his identity as Naushad r/o Zakir Nagar, Okhla, New Delhi. During search of his bag, 7 Kgs. of fine quality Marijuana (GANJA) was recovered. Consequently, a case vide FIR No. 80/12 U/s 20/61/85 NDPS Act was registered at PS Chandni Mahal and investigation was taken up.

INTERROGATION:

On sustained interrogation, he disclosed that previously he used to work as an auto driver and during that time, he came in contact with many drug addicts and sensed this as an opportunity to earn quick bucks by the supply of the drugs. He used to get the supply from Bhubneshwar. To create an alibi, he started working as a contractor of labour engaged in whitewash and simultaneously started visiting Bhuvneshwar in Orrisa to fetch the drugs and sell in Delhi on exorbitant rates. He had already undertaken three sorties in the past. However, his luck ran out and he was finally caught by the alert team of PS Chandni Mahal.

Further investigation/interrogation is in progress and efforts are being made to unearth the source of supply of Ganja.

7Kgs fine quality marijuana (ganja).

PROFILE

Naushad r/o Zakir Nagar, Okhla, New Delhi is about 30 years old. He has studied upto 5th class. He is a permanent resident of Bihar and has been living in Delhi for about 10-15 years. Previously, he used to drive an autorickshaw and nowadays he is working as a contractor for whitewash in Jamia Nagar.
