Ministry Opportunities
* The nursery at Casa de la Esperanza is in desperate need of age-appropriate toys, warm weather clothes, and diapers. Things will be taken to the orphanage in July. If you would like to donate, please remember that all books and movies must be in Spanish, and that the children are 0-4 years old. If you have any questions, please contact Katy Shooter at 543-8901.
* HELP! Volunteers for VBS are needed. Sign up on the bulletin board near the preschool hall.
* Needed: Volunteers during the 10:45 service for the attended nursery. Sign up outside the door of the nursery.
* Generations is a men’s gospel quartet that regularly sings at nursing homes and assisted living homes in town. They are looking for one or more singers who can practice and sing regularly. Contact R. A. Bradley (794-7628) to volunteer.
* Children’s Home of Lubbock is looking for young couples (over 21) to be weekend houseparents. For more information, call Richard Fentiman at 762-0481.
University Ministry

Children's Ministry
* Children’s Handouts are provided each Sunday in the foyer.
* A Nursery is provided for children from birth to 2 years of age in Room 102 in the preschool hall, during the Sunday AM worship services.
* SuperKids is registering for Fall 2007. Enrollment forms are in the information centers. The cost is $95/month and $30.00/registration fee. For any questions, call Wendy Killough at 777-6851.
* The Timothy/Tabitha class is for the 2nd-5th graders on Wednesdays through August. Leading worship on 6/24, 8/5, and 8/26.
* Camp Evergreen—July 22-27, applications due by July 1st.
* Galilee by the Sea VBS will be Saturday, July 14th from 9 AM until 2 PM for potty trained children thru 5th graders. Please pre-register your child at the welcome centers in the foyers.
Women's Ministry
* Pillow Ministry – will meet on the 1st and 3rd Tuesdays for June, July and August at 10 AM in Room 217. Needed: gallon size Ziploc bags
* Women’s Prayer Group – 6:30 AM, Thursday mornings. Coffee and breakfast items are available. For more information, call Susan Wilcox (368-8859) or Kathy Jordan (632-3200).
Angel Food Ministry
*Distribution for June is Saturday, June 30 in the Family Life Center. South Plains Church of Christ has been selected by Angel Food Ministries to be the “drop site” for the Lubbock area. This means churches from the area will be coming here to pick up their food. We will need many volunteers to be here by 8 AM on Saturday, June 30th to accomplish this. People are still need by 7 AM to help set up. Thank you for your continued support of this ministry.
