  1. CG Easter Solus Christus Outreach Dinner

As Easter Sunday draws near, do not miss the opportunity to plant the gospel seeds and harvest for the Lord.

Every cell group is encouraged to host this CG Easter Outreach Dinner event and invite your pre-believer friends to experience The Last Supper and the meaning of Easter.

Leaders should have received your event program and manual to guide you and your Cell group in hosting this event via CMS. A similar CMS email was also sent to all Leaders on 28 February.

Schedule the dinner event between 17 to 31 March and remember to invite your friends to the Easter Weekend Celebration (31 March/1 April).

For any enquiries, kindly email:

Start by collating and praying through a list of names whom you would want to invite. Plan the general logistics, including venue, date, and timing (if you have not done so last week).

Adopted Unreached People Group – Khmer, Cambodia

Pray:

Khmers

  • God’s redemptive and restoration work to break the strongholds of addiction and set families free from poverty, idolatry, injustice, and ill health.
  • The children and youths will be given opportunities for education, and protected from the evil intentions of wicked people.
  • Churches in Cambodia:
  • Will be lighthouses offering hope, healing and salvation through Jesus Christ.
  • Will be strong and united in the Lord.
  • Will be wise and fervent in making Christ known.

Mission Team (15-23 Mar)

Pray for Jenny Tiong (Leader), Jacky Lai (Asst. Leader), Judy Chai, Kenneth Chang, Joanne Hee, Low Meng Loh & Sylvia Pook:

  • Team unity.
  • God's grace, mercy, blessing, guidance and protection upon them and their loved ones at home.
  • The team will be Spirit-filled and Spirit-led as they minister to the Khmer people, and for receptive hearts and minds to the Good News.
  1. WORD

SOLUS CHRISTUS

Our Walk in Christ: Unity (Ephesians 4:1-7; 11-16; Philippians 2:1-4)

By Terry Yeow

For the Word session, either use the Word Activity sheet or discuss the questions below.

Reminder to recite together Ephesians 4:1 & Ephesians 5:15-16.

The BIG Idea:

Unity is not just agreed upon. It has to be built upon.

Thereafter, summarize the sermon followed by these questions.

  • Read the scripture passage.
  • Do a THREE-MINUTE SUMMARY of the sermon highlighting the KEY POINTS. Do not preach the whole sermon again, as majority of your members would have heard the sermon already. Allocate more time for sharing in the cell through the application questions below.
  • Sermon Resource at:

Reflection & Application Questions:

1.Do I just attend church/cell group (CG) or am I part of the “body”(church/CG)-building ministry? What are some of the ways I can build the “body”?

2.Has someone from church offended/hurt you? Share how God has helped you to forgive and love OR share what God has taught you through the sermon in regards to forgiving the offender?

3.What is one thing that I can sacrifice/ put aside for the sake of maintaining the unity in body of Christ (church/CG)?

Note to Word leader:

As you are preparing for this session, this is a great time to pray that the Holy Spirit will guide you to use the questions efficaciously. You can select, modify or entirely create your own questions, according to the needs of your CG.
