To All 8th Grade Parents & Students:
Please keep in mind that high school applications are due now! Many schools have due dates in the upcoming weeks and I must receive them all to get all the supporting documents the school requires in time. All applications and fees must be submitted to the school before the entrance exam.
For Private Schools:
Notre Dame, Kolbe and St. Joseph's-all have their entrance exam on 10/29 and they must receive your initial application and the fee before this test to apply. You take the test at one school and it is sent to all three schools if you choose to.
Note Dame- the initial application is both online and on paper so you do what you prefer.
Kolbe- paper application only but you can print it here and submit all copies to me with the school's fee. Or you can mail in the application and fee yourself and give me just the teacher recommendation page.
St. Joseph's- only an online initial application and then you must print the academic release and teacher recommendation to give to me to complete.
Fairfield Prep- the application is entirely online only. It is due before their exam on 11/5. The recommendation pages must be printed and given to me to complete.
Lauralton Hall- the application is entirely online only. It is due before their exam on 10/22. The recommendation pages must be printed and given to me to complete.
REMEMBER TO SUBMIT A FINANCIAL AID APPLICATION FOR ALL PRIVATE SCHOOLS YOU APPLY TO - FACTS (Kolbe, Notre Dame, St. Joe’s, Lauralton Hall) or PSAS (Fairfield Prep)

For Public Choice Schools:
Central Magnet- This is a paper application and every student received a copy from me. This application has a three paragraph essay required and I will edit this. Please have your child type this double spaced so I can easily correct it.If you need another copy you can print it here:
Fairchild Wheeler and Bridgeport Military Magnet- are only online applications that you complete here. Please forward me your confirmation email you receive.
Technical Schools- Bullard Havens, Platt Tech, Emmet O'Brien- a paper application and you put all schools on the same one. Please note that an admissions test is required now for all technicals school. All students received a copy of the application and test schedule but you can also print it here:
AITE- the application isn't available yet. Check here for updates:
