The CMA Gold Rush Is Coming To Caldwell!

The CMA (Caldwell Merchants Association) Great Caldwell Downtown Gold Rush promotion will begin on Oct 10th in Caldwell and will run through New Year’s Day. Created to bring more shoppers into the Caldwell downtown, the Gold Rush gives shoppers a chance to win up to $10,000 in CMA Merchant Money and cash. Raffle tickets are available at all participating Caldwell Merchant Association stores and restaurants and there is no purchase necessary to win. Raffle entries will be collected in treasure chests inside store and restaurants. The first three drawings will take place on the Caldwell Town Green and the final drawing will be held at the Gold Rush Platinum Sponsor, Calandra’s ItalianVillage.The first drawing will take place on Saturday, Oct 24th at Noon on the Caldwell Town Green with a prize of $500 in CMA Merchant Money. The second drawing will be held on Saturday, Nov. 21st at Noon and will award $1000 in CMA Merchant Money. The third drawing will take place in December 19th at Noon and will give out a $1500 CMA Merchant Money prize. The final drawing will be held on New Year’s Day at 3PM and will award $5000 in CMA Merchant Money and $2000 in cash. CMA Merchant Money can be used at more than 35 participating stores and restaurants.

We have over 35 shops and restaurants where shoppers can go and take a chance to win,” stated CMA President, June Cowell. “This promotion was created by Councilman Joseph Norton who is very enthusiastic about helping to increase foot traffic in the Caldwell downtown,” she continued.

The Caldwell Merchants Association was founded in 2007 by a group of dedicated business people and resident volunteers interested in supporting the health of the downtown. The CMA is fully insured, State registered non-profit and federally designated 501-c-6 business association working to strengthen relationships between merchants and professionals; attract new businesses to Caldwell; support Caldwell businesses through networking and seasonal shopping events and promotions; assist in the preservation and maintenance of the downtown; and promote pride in the community’s institutions and achievements for the benefit of the Caldwell community.
