13TH ANNUAL CHILI COOK-OFF

AND BAKE-OFF

ATTENTION BAKERS:

PLEASE report to the Judges’ table after determining your location. At this time, you will be given a number. Please bring your item, marked with your number to the judges’ table NO LATER THAN 7:15 pm. Judging will take place at 7:15 pm.

A panel of three (3) judges will be scoring baked goods.

Bake-Off Criteria - General appearance, moisture, texture, and flavor.

Youth Decorated Cupcakes Criteria - appearance, color, neatness, and illustrating fall theme (only needs to enter one cupcake)

BAKE-OFF CONTEST RULES

1. Each contestant may enter only one item per category.

2. All baked goods must be fully baked and complete.

3. All entries must be placed on a paper plate enclosed in a Ziploc bag or covering.

4. After judging is complete, remaining items will be used for the tasting activity at your table.

5. If entering a cake or pie, please enter an entire cake or pie.

6. If entering cookies, please enter three dozen cookies.

7. If entering cupcakes, please enter two dozen cupcakes.

8. Each entry should be marked with a name of your baked good when you register on the day of the contest (for example, Black Forrest Cake).

There will also be a Peoples’ Choice award for the baker collecting the most beads, as well as a Queen’s Choice Award and a Best Decorated Table Award.
