Skills & Abilities

TErRITORY MANAGEMENT

·I am a self-starter that is willing to travel. Having worked from a home office most my selling career, I am well versed at time management and creating a cadence schedule that provides consistent coverage to serving existing client base while generating new business that exceeds my sales goals

·Have managed territories as large as 3 states (Florida, Georgia and South Carolina) and 23 sales people, but primarily focused on smaller geographical areas such as: North Florida, Central Florida, Northeast Florida and Southeast Georgia

Sales

·Consultative selling is the act of listening and learning before presenting a solution. It is the art of helping others get what they need. I have a proven track record of new account development and exceptional account retention because I focus on the customer’s needs before my own

Communication

·Have grown comfortable presenting to small or large groups and speaking directly with gate keepers to C level executives. This level of confidence has come because of being open minded to new selling techniques, making as many warm sales calls as possible and using technology/social media to earn new business

·In 1998 I heard a Fortune 500 CEO say “it is not a matter of making a mistake because we are human and everybody makes a mistake. It is a matter of how you WOW your customers with your recovery when that mistake has been made”. That philosophy has helped me become a better resource to my customers and employers because it focuses my efforts on best practices and being humble when things get sideways
