Provided search engine optimization research services for a professional services consultancy in San Francisco, CA. Conducted Web-site review and comparison with the AMLAW-200 national and international law firms and collected critical Search Engine Optimization (SEO) metrics using Trifecta by SEOmoz. The research was used to compare and track the law firm’s SEO performance and design.

Conducted keyword research and analysis for a Web-site redesign and search engine optimization project for a Palo Alto, CA law firm. The project utilized the Google Adwords Keyword Tool to search for keyword popularity and competitiveness, then identified the best keywords for the application to land pages on the site.

Quality Assurance Lead

Established and maintained the QA Department for EEG, an event management company, which implements and manages events that attract up to 10,000 national and international conference attendees, via the EEG Web-site. Reviewed, analyzed, tested, and assessed EEG’s Web-site functionality, user-friendliness, and aesthetics.

Tested EEG's internal registration applications developed from Coldfusion code and utilized data services for both SQL Server and Oracle. Implemented extensive changes to SQL databases and ran numerous SQL queries and reports. Monitored and coordinated the launching and deployment of client Web-sites, ensuring the consistent scheduling of releases. Documented and reported Web-site defects, instituting corrective actions.

For a provider of Object-Oriented graphic software tools for business users, including control and delivery systems, served as a senior member of the Quality Assurance and Release Control team. Ported the company’s software on ten different platforms, encompassing English, Japanese, and Korean versions.

Tested each version and documented test cases and results in order to reproduce identified issues. Constructed animated objects / models as part of the testing process and produced new releases and patches for customers. Performed functional, integration, regression, end-to-end, acceptance, and performance testing.

Utilized Bug Host and Bugzilla to identify bugs and fixes. Designed custom, highly effective internal bug tracking scripts, documenting all test results and forwarding the information to the development and technical support teams. Ran nightly Java builds from a home office to confirm bug fixes and enhancements, as well as to ensure source code integrity.

Created shell scripts to automate procedures. Wrote, proofread, and published end-user documentation, as well as other company publications and literature. Successfully released a major software version without supervision.
