12U RAVENS 2013 SPRING SEASON

Thank you for coming to the12U RAVENS 2014 spring tryout. We’re glad you’re here!

The KV Ravens program is coming off another outstanding fall season. Our 10U T2 team and 14U T2 teams both won back to back State Championships. Our 12U T2 and 14U T2 teams have now won back to back MGHL Championships. The program is not only growing but we are building some of the best players in the state. Our #1 goal is to find a place for every girl to play the great game of hockey and take them as far as they want to go in the sport.

This spring and into fall we will have 3 teams at the 12U level.

12U Tier 2 (Wainwright). Ahigh level team that will play in the MGHL in addition to the Tier 1 circuit

12U Tier 2 (Siciliano). Will play a series of exhibition games to find their best fit in the MGHL T2 division

12U Tier 3 (Fowler). A new team focusing on fun, development and getting new players into the game

Based on the outcome of spring and where our final numbers land in this division, our plan to move forward with the same 3 teams in the fall 2014/15 season. It is important to know that your placement on a spring team does not carry forward to fall. The fall tryouts for this division will be held in June and there likely could be some movement of players.

You will be contacted within 48 hours of this tryout on next steps for your player. They will be invited back to one or more teams for their final tryout skate. It is not uncommon to be invited back to multiple teams so coaches can dial in a bit more. Our final roster for each team will be decided by April 1st.

Each team will take a different approach to spring by way of ice time, training, tournaments, etc. That is the sole discretion of each coach but the spring season is intended to be fun, short, local and inexpensive. It is also a great time for you to get to know a coach and team to see if it is the right fit.

We are committed to the development of each and every player in our Raven program. We have dedicated and experienced coaches throughout all of our teams and we are forever expanding our training and development plans, the number of teams and our resource base of amazing volunteers. We encourage you to get involved as there are many roles you can play on a team.

Thank you again for coming to our spring tryout. Have a great spring season!
